Notes-Hope's Birthday Challenge response. This has
nothing to do with our series that we are writing. Rob Lowe is still a fabulous
hottie, even with the messy hair. I can't resist a challenge, so here it
is. And by the way, there are those of us who appreciate that there is no snow
in the MidWest. I hate snow :)
"Sam, I can't believe you dragged me out here. It's cold." Margaret complained
as Sam drug her out to the courtyard of their apartment.
"Well, duh. It has to be cold for the snow to stay on the ground." Sam smiled
and continued to pull her over to the corner of the yard.
"I hate snow. I hate cold. We should just move the capitol of the US to
someplace in California, like Burbank or something."
"Where's the fun in that? We'd be surrounded by beautiful people all day long.
I'd worry about you meeting some actor and running off into the sunset with
him." He flashed her a trademark smile.
"Or you could just find a beautiful starlet to run off with like that woman from
the show about the White House." Margaret put her hands on her hips and glared
at him. She was cold and tired. It had been a long day at work and all she
wanted was a hot bath and hot chocolate.
"Nah, no one is as beautiful as you." Sam wanted her to have a little fun.
Working in the White House often meant long, tiring days.
"Although, there is that guy on the same show who is so sexy, but he needs a
haircut. I may have to seek him out and tell him that."
"And probably cause an incident when he has you arrested for harassment. I'm
sure that his wife really wants other women telling her husband about his hair.
I'd have to keep you locked up and my love slave." Sam smiled at her. She was
fun to tease and he really loved her.
"You are just hoping to get yourself out of me being mad at you for dragging me
out here."
"That could be it too, but work with me here."
Several Hours Later.....................
The starry night sky and the moon were casting a soft romantic glow on the
courtyard where Sam and Margaret were putting the finishing touches on their
winter project.
The snowman that they'd tried very hard to make look like President Bartlet was
finally done.
"There." Sam stood back to admire his work.
"I've got a camera. Let me take some pictures."
Margaret took a variety of shots of Sam and the snowman until he took the camera
away from her and snapped shots of her.
"Can we please go inside now? I want a hot bath and hot chocolate to warm me
up."
"I'm sure that I can come up with a few different ideas to warm you up." Sam
smirked.
"Then let's go upstairs and try those ideas out." Margaret smiled.
They both headed up the stairs to their apartment holding
hands and both anxious to try out Sam's warming up ideas.
