** MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS **
Me, Mum, Dad & "wee brother" David. My beloved Grandma and Grandpa.
David and me with our cousins Stephanie, Rachel, Sarah, Hannah and Rebecca.
This is just a small portion of my collection of elephants!
I have known my friend Jane since we were 7. On Saturday 3rd June 2000 she married Mike.
Katharine (an ex-colleague) and one-year-old Sophia, summer 1999.
Poor Sophia's father, Nick, died of cancer on Monday 15th May 2000.
Please visit the website set up in his memory by his brother Tim.
Eimear is a colleague and good friend at Trinity College Library.
I started dancing in 1984 with Ruislip District Caledonian Society (of which I was President 1994-5 - the youngest they've ever had).
With me in the left hand picture are my good friends Bobbie, Brian, Ethel and Isa.
Derek and Jo (right) are a very lovely couple I met through the class.
Lorna and Dave with Catherine at her christening in October 1998. Gillian is her godmother.
All of them are good friends from Aberdeen University Scottish Country Dance Society.
Gillian and Lorna are founding members of Aurora.
Ian and Kirsten are both friends I met through the University dance group.
As you can tell, Ian is not entirely sane! (Neither is Kirsten, but that's less obvious!)
Lin (one of my dearest friends) and Anne dance with Aberdeen Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.
Senga, Nina, me, Stewart, Shona and Morag at RSCDS West Renfrewshire Branch annual Ball 1997.
I had great fun dancing at the Mesa Highland Games 1998 with the Phoenix Branch of the RSCDS.
Craig and Sam, Mike, James and Hazel are friends from Edinburgh University dance group.
Mags and Tony are good friends who lived in Phoenix when we did and are now also in Ireland.
In September 2003 I went on a Scottish dancing holiday to Krasnodar and Yamal in Russia.
This was organised by Ilona in Russia (left) and Fiona in Bristol (right), and was a wonderful experience.
David Queen, Andrew Lyon and James Gray are 3/4 of the band Scottish Measure, who played for us in Russia.
I made some wonderful friends on the trip, including Chris and Bertha and Alex.
The participants of the trip and the subscribers to Strathspey raised money
to send some of the Russian dancers to Summer School in Saint Andrews.
Dima, me, Anton, Ilona, Sasha, Fiona, Olga, Larissa.
John, Diane, John and Evelyn are friends I made when working as a volunteer in Tempe Public Library.
