St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, has some beautiful gardens and old buildings.
Kilkenny Castle, seen from across the River Nore.
This used to be the jail and courthouse in Kilkenny.
This pub is next to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in County Clare - a very interesting day out.
It's a pity they don't spell Nellie the same way as me!
The scenery in West Cork is beautiful. This is Glengarriff seen from Garinish Island.
Bantry House in West Cork has a huge collection of valuables as well as superb views.
Newgrange is one of the oldest burial sites in Ireland, and there is a fascinating visitors' centre there.
Devenish Island, in the River Erne, near Eniskillen, is an uninhabited island with a long history.
Marble Arch Caves, also near Eniskillen, are quite spectacular, and a visit includes an underground boat trip.
