The City of Aberdeen seen from the River Dee.

Kings College, Old Aberdeen, was founded in 1495 for the study of Divinity.
In 1860 it joined with Marischal College to form the University of Aberdeen.

Glasgow University is the oldest in Scotland.

Two of my favourite beaches: Balmedie (left) and Cruden Bay (right).

The City of Edinburgh seen from the castle.

St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.

St. Andrews is a beautiful old town in Fife.
This bookshop is one of my favourite buildings in the town (inside as well as out, but for different reasons!).

This is the remains of St. Andrews cathedral.

From the top of the cathedral tower, there is a lovely view of the town and its wonderful beaches.

Steve's Dad's house, the Old Sawmill at Camserney, Perthshire, and the garden in winter (left) and at Easter (right).

Schiehallion - thought to mean "the fairy hill of the Caledonians".

The Queen's View, Loch Tummel, near Pitlochry is a superb viewpoint, both in summer and in winter.

The Falls of Bruar, Perthshire.

Wade's Bridge over the River Tay at Aberfeldy

Urquhart Castle, overlooking Loch Ness, and Dunnottar Castle, near Stonehaven.
