THINGS YOU NEED

All you need to start knitting is a pair of needles and some yarn,but there are different types of knitting needles for different types of knitting.there are also gadgets which can help to make knitting easier.

For cutting yarns and trimming loose yarn ends.

This helps you to keep track of how many rows you have knitted.you slip it on to the end of a needle and turn it as you finish each row.

You can use this to check the metric sizes of your knitting needles and crochet hooks

You use a circular needle to knit seamless turbular things,such as skirts.you buy them in different lengths,so check what your pattern says.

You use this to hold a group of stitches when you are knitting cables.it should be the same size or smaller than the other needles you are using.

These come in normal sizes,in sets of six or four.you use them to knit small,turbular things without a seam,such as polo necks or socks.
