Age: Since, according to the "Girl Trouble" episode, she was in the same grade as Grandpa, most likely she is only 81.

Pets: Grandma, Arnold, and Grandpa share the same pets: Abner the pig, and various cats and dogs.

Occupation: Owner/Proprietor of the Sunset Arms Boarding House... right along side Grandpa.

Fun Facts: Grandma is... well, she's a wild card. She's often running around the house in character rolls, such as Mary queen of Scots or that Wilderness Hunter lady who always travels with Kimba. She plays piano rather good, although she didn't really show off much in Hey Arnold! The Movie. She also is very skilled in Karate, which she taught onto Arnold after he was mugged. She may seem crazy, but she is very intelligent.

Friends: Her friends are probably the same as Grandpa, including some "friends" that only she knows of... such as Elenor Roosevelt... do you get the picture?

Marriage: Gertie is married to her elementary school sweetheart, Phil, who she often tormented as a young child. Much like Arnold and Helga's love/hate relationship.

Overall: Grandma is very... "eccentric". She is usually only the comic relief in a scene, such as in Snow when she went around with a sleigh of cats, dogs and a pig on a quest to "save the missionaries". Although she acts crazy, inside she is a kind-hearted old lady with a golden soul. OH, MAN! DO YA SEE THAT? OH, SNAP! LOOK AT WHAT I DONE DID! YEAH!
