CHARACTER PROFILES

Mr. Simmons

Age: Most likely, he's in his thirties or forties.

Address: He lives somewhere in the neighborhood and has his own yard fenced off from the sidewalk.

Pets: Mr. Simmons doesn't have any pets, but at one point his classroom did have a pet snake.

Occupation: He's a teacher at P.S. 118. After Miss Slovak left, he took her place and was instantly hated by the students. When the principal took him away and put in some drill sargent-turned teacher, they quickly decided that they wanted Mr. Simmons back. So far since then, he's been the kids' teacher.

Fun Facts: His family is a group of disfunctional alcoholics who always visit him during the holidays to bicker with him. Even though he seems to be a very calm and suttle, down-to-earth teacher, he drives a black motorcycle to school. In one of the episodes (I can't remember the title, but it was where everyone thought Principal Wartz was dead but he was actually just getting his office moved), it showed a parking space that read "SIMMONS" and in it was a motorcycle.

Friends: Principle Wartz and him became friends after they started to understand each other. Other than that, he doesn't really have many friends.

Marriage: Nah, Mr. Simmons is living it up single.

Overall: Mr. Simmons is a non-displinary teacher or, as I like to say, a new age hippy. He's often mocked behind his back as a throw pillow or as "Granola Boy". He tries to demonstrate a new wave style of teaching, and usually end up being trampled by his students. Tough break, man. Tough break.
