recently had an engine upgrade to a Magnum 120 2 stroke. Ric is now

1/5 scale Morane "SAULNIER Type N" is latest model.
Scratch built from plans the aircraft is powered by OS 46FX, Sig Coverall,
controls are all moving stabiliser and rudder. Wing warping wires are for
scale effect. Maiden flight 26/10/03

Features full retracts, tailwheel door sequencing and on-board glow driver.
Power is a Magnum 91 4 stroke. Model based on RAN museum aircraft.

Rick Wadrop's
nice electric Newtimer.
The Newtimer kit is from CERMARK, using the supplied engine (a 470
size) and non-folding prop - with a 9.6V, 1100mAh Nicad battery
pack and an ESC. I am using a JR Tx/Rx. I have managed a couple of take-offs from the ground, although
most flights have been hand launched. (3/7/03) |
