October 23,2003: Well, it's been over a year since my last update, not like that many people are regularly checking back, DYING to know what I've been up to. I'm still with Michael; it's been 15 great months today. We had our anniversary back in July, and that was great. He just had his birthday two days ago, and mine is in 4 days! I guess I still get excited about birthdays in a silly kind of way. Maybe one of these days I'll have more pictures up. Until later...
October 20, 2002: Yet another update folks. I think the updates have gotten so infrequent that no one comes here anymore. Oh well. So, the latest news is that I've found an apartment! It's in Watertown, which is a very nice town west of Boston. It's right next to Boston, close to work, bars, etc. There's some awesome bike riding in that part of town, and hopefully I'll get hooked up with a racing team or something; at least a club.
Other than that, everything else seems to be going pretty well. I'm still enjoying the job and I'm looking very much forward to only being about 30 minutes away from it, as opposed to the 1+ hour it takes now, which STINKS. But, once again that's all for now! Check in some of the other buttons for other updates.
September 24, 2002: Wow it's been a long time since I've updated. I guess the whole website thing long its novelty for me, plus... well I dunno what else. I just lost it I guess. It's been almost over 10 months since my last update. I'm not going to tell my whole life story, don't worry. Not a whole lot has changed. I'm still at the same job as before and still enjoying it. I've learned a lot, and I can't believe I've been here over a year. My 23rd is coming up, which is cool. There's a new (two months) guy in my life and things are going well in that respect. We went to Cancun last week and I'm planning to put some pics up from that since I got them put on a disk when they were developped. SO, that's all for now!
November 2, 2001: Hey anyone notice the updates are more frequent? I had my 22nd birthday this past Saturday, which was fun. My friend Lori came up for the weekend, and Brett came into town during the day to hang out. My friend Chris (update on 9/24 - buh-bye Chris in April) came out with us too and I think he met Brett and Lori's approval, which is always nice.
Other than that not much else is new in my life. I've been having trouble with my brain today, so... more later. :)
October 19: Well it has been a long time since my last update. Unfortunately, moving away from ethernet land has dampened my website abilities. My ethernet access now is at work, and it being "work" and all they don't like us doing personal stuff while they're paying us.
May 20: Today was the big day. I'm officially a college graduate of The George Washington University. To be honest, the Commencement ceremony itself was kind of anti-climactic, and now I'm sitting in my near-empty room feeling numb, in a way. I've been running around alternating between my family and friends, and it's suddenly hitting me that I have to say bye (or at least see you later) to a lot of people. A lot of these people I won't see in weeks or months; some I may never see again.
You meet so many people, know so many names and faces that you see almost every day, and then just like that you may never see them or speak to them again because you didn't really know them that well. Then, a few years down the road, something will remind you of them, and you'll wonder how they're doing. They might be married with kids, or maybe I'll read about them in the paper because they've done some random thing that's very important.
I've only been graduated for about three hours now, and I'm already feeling nostalgic. I know I will miss this place, but I'm looking forward to the path that still lies ahead of me. I can't see too far down the path because there are many twists and turns, and many sights to see along the way.
Thanks to all my loved ones who have made this place very special to me. Thanks especially to my parents.
May 11: The graduation counter is up! Much thanks to my buddy Mike for giving me the Javascript for it!
May 9: Graduation is coming! The countdown to the big day is on. If I knew how to make some kind of counter here I would, but that's ok. We're close enough to the big day that everyone who visits my site can calculate it (if you can't, come see me, we'll chat). The big day is MAY 20. That is, of course, assuming I've passed all my finals. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Speaking of finals today I had the last final exam of my college career! All that's left now is finishing up the thesis... yeah, that's "all."
I can't believe I forgot even more important stuff! I'm employed! I accepted a job with Investor's Bank and Trust located in the Hancock Building in Boston, MA. So, I'm moving back north on May 21!
November 1: As you may or may not know, I turned the big two-one on October 27, 2000. Click here to see my memories from my 21st birthday.
