BASIC GENERATION GUIDELINES

GENERAL INFO
- Races: Human (Kiresh, Zarzhanja or Muerrin) preferred, other races (see world info) may be allowed.
- Classes: All standard classes, alternate classes or kits to be approved and perhaps modified by dm.
- Alignment: There are no restrictions on alignment, but non-evil will work best.
- Names Please look at the world info pages which include date on naming conventions and aspects of various ethnic groups. I am tired of receiving characters named Gunther or some other off the mark name given the campaign setting.
- Character Stats: 6d6 keep the best 3, if a totally decrepid character is still the result, Dm charitable tampering may be allowed.
- Level: The character begins with 100,000 x.p. to distribute among his classes. If the character is human add an additional 25, 000 x.p. It the character is an elf , half-elf, halfling or dwarf, subtract 10,000 x.p. If the character is an unconventional race subtract 25,000 x.p. from starting total in determining levels. The character begins with 3 magic items, 1 offensive, 1 defensive and 1 other to be approved by the dm. For each additional magic item the dm may subtract 1-10,000 x.p. depending on the power of the item. If the character choses to begin with no starting magic items, they gain an additional 40,000 x.p. Note humans will be given better magic items than non humans to start out with.
- Hit Points: Will be based on level, and class, taking into account constitution bonuses. You
may roll these yourself, take maximum for first level.

- Starting Money: Characters will recieve one hundred gold pieces per level.
EQUIPMENT
Should be included in character sheet and subtracted from predetermined starting
money. Approval of all items is dependent on dm approval and try to make them campaign appropriate,
I expect a detailed list of items. Note players are responsible for keeping track of their items
and sending updates to DM to post online. If there is a discrepancy because of players failing
to give timely updates, items may become lost.
Magic items: You start with 3 items or less [see x.p.], approved at the DM's option. You may make suggestions, but the actual awarding of items depends on dm's determination.
Spellbooks: Each magic user starts with a spell book. All spells books will
be generated by Dm and Player working in tandem. There is no spell memorization. in the conventional sense, and magic users get a spell bonus for intelligence equal to the clerical proficiency for mages.
CHARACTER TRAITS
Character Description: All characters must come with a physical description (and preferably picture). If you cannot find a picture, the dm will provide one (as best as he can manage to fit your character.
Character Personality Profile: A description of personality, traits, habits, fears, etc.
Character Story: A background tale of your character , one designed to fit the campaign setting. You will want to come up with a background that will gain you admittance to the party. Use the website for reference and feel free to ask the DM questions. If you submit a character about Theodoric the Snow Barbarian from north of Waterdeep you will be rejected out of hand.
