A long, long time ago... I decided to make a comic in an extremely stereo-typically anime fashion. It would have transformations (like in Sailor Moon and a million other things), an alternate reality/fantasy world (El Hazard or Fushigi Yugi or Rayearth or a million other things), and it would feature a group of young heroes (...well, you get the idea). I never made that comic. So... last year in college, I (and a few friends) began another comic series which placed divine beings from classical and not-so-classical mythologies in present-day western Massachusetts. And now I've combined the two comics. Twilight Haze (tentative title) is like that anime comic, but much is taken from mythologies. And I'm trying to do it all in a naturalistic style (so that the characters and the character development is very realistic, even if the plot is not at all). Oh. And of course, it's unfinished. ...Actually, it's barely begun. |
