| After my trip to London, I had another
trip to do, survive 4 days in Edinburgh. I took the plane to Edinburgh
airport on Friday night after work and some drinks with my colleagues.
To my big surprise I did not miss the plane and my flight had also no delay.
After my flight arrived to early in Edinburgh Annette picked me up. After
a couple of beers we went to sleep to be fit for the next day.
On Saturday we went to Edinburgh to visit
the Castle of Edinburgh, this was after the Ramblas my second culture event
of the year. After the castle we walked the Royal mile (the road from the
castle to Royal palace). Ofcourse this was to much culture for me so it
was time for a beer. The meeting place for the night was the Filling station.
Since Annette has to bring one of her kids to her brother she returned
back to late. Met some girls of the Devil, so that was a real Kodak moment
for me. We already had to much alcohol in our body to do more culture events
that night. After we watched the fireworks we went to the Three Sisters.
Even I was dancing and met the Devil girls again. On the way back home
Annette dropped Ian home, I felt in sleep in the car and at the moment
the wake me up I answered back in Dutch.
The Sunday was nice, since Scotland has newspapers on Sunday. So read the papers from the moment I stood up till the moment I had haggis for diner. After diner we went to Edinburgh to do the Underground city tour. On Monday I had to go by myself back to Edinburgh and make sure I would be on time at the airport. Did some nice book shopping and went to the airport on time. After I had checked in I noticed that I only had a delay of 3 hours, so I did some more book and DVD shopping and had some beers. Conclusion: Niki is able to travel on its own without doing any stupid things.
