'72 K5 Blazer

This was our 2nd 4 wheel drive we owned and from what I have learned over the years should have kept. When we bought it nothing had ever been done to it. It still had the original drivetrain still in it. We ended up putting a 3" body lift in it and 35" Groundhawgs under it. We didn't own it that long, only 7 months. We did get in a pretty bad accident with it just a month before we got rid of it.  A new Ford Probe ran a red light in front of us and we collided passenger front corner of ours to her driver side front corner. We ended up driving over the hood of her car. It totalled her car with an estimate of $13000 of damage. Ours only got $2000 worth of damage only because it tweaked our frame rail down an inch or so. Because of the frame rail being bent it pushed the front axle back 4" and over 4" so our turning radius was effected a little. And whoever says new cars are better, I beg to differ seeing as how I still got to drive mine.
