Foster Lake Mud Bash 1998

As most of you already know this event is a 20 year old tradition that used to occur the 2nd weekend of January at the Foster Lake, Oregon resevoir. The first year we attended they had limited the amount of tickets being sold and by chance a friend sold us his. The day was rainy and miserable, perfect 4 wheeling weather! The esitmated count of trucks was approx. 2000 and after attempting to get around on the flats you would believe it. We got stuck alot which was to be expected and wanted. We really enjoyed doing the mud drags, yes drag racing in the mud. 4 wheeler TV recorded their first show at the event and I was lucky enough to be interviewed and put on tv. I had my 15 minutes of fame. We were extremely lucky and had no breaks and made it home to find 6" of snow to play in.
