| A ten year old boy from New Jersey stabbed his dad to death during an argument over chocolate icing. The incedent occurred when the farther accused his son of stealing a container full of icing, and the row soon degenerated into a slanging match. In the spear of the moment, the farther thrust a five-inch kitchen knife at the boy and sarcasticly challenged him to attack. As the blade was plungedinto the dieng man's chest, his last words were: "Would you believe that kid did that?" Accordingly to Ocean County prosecutor E David Millard, the boy wsa unlicklyto serve time because he had been "provoked". |
