Piasecka Family
The Piasecka family is led by Krystyna, who was widowed when her husband committed suicide. She has 7 children. Some of the children have learning difficulties.

- Tereska, age 11 - charming and shy
- Grazyna, age 14 - in special school in Goldap
- Ewelina, age 15 - wants to become a chef
- Monika, age 16 - a good student who is in the technical school
- Marian, age 17 - he goes to a boarding school in another town
- Krystyna, age 18 - in High School

They are sponsored by Krystyna Lewicki, widow of Adam Lewicki, and her son Michael. Michael, age 17, is an honors student in a private Catholic school that he attend on a full scholarship. He is planning to go to college to study computer science after he graduates next year. Michael is a very active volunteer in the Foundation.
