Dear Paul, I wrote you two long letters already and certainly don't want to monopolize your precious time. As I told you before my husband and his sister were horribly abuse and both had dissociative disorders. My husband and his sister had multiple personalities and I'm so proud that my husband has over come this. He still however, has large parts of his childhood that are gone forever. An exquisite mechanism for dealing with abuse as a little child that could never understand things even we as adults don t understand. I had my own form of abuse but in comparision it was small. My father was an alcoholic that beat us regularly and emotionally and verbally abused us. We too looked into the existing organizations such as you mentioned in your email and found money was the theme, not abused children and what we can do to help. We too, were very dissilutioned. We do our share in our community and also help the children n Latin America. This is a non profit organization and believe me everything goes for the children. You didn't mention if you had the opportunity to read anything about the work they are doing. I think you would be very happy to know there are others like ll of us working hard for the little ones that suffer. The man who works the hardest has a title but it only means he does most of the work. He has been my hero. He is Bruce Harris. His life is literally on the line for his fight for the children and he ill die rather than quit. Bruce has been my hero for three years now and I'm not one that has heroes. Well, I have three more now. You, Liz and Paula. I think a person is lucky in life to find one person that has the qualitites it takes to really deserve to be anyones hero. Well, dear ones all three of you have my utmost respect and you more than deserve the titles of Heroes to me. You are heroes to all the little children that suffer that you are helping. We stand beside you and are helping too. No through the big NGO's but by having concerts to raise money for abused children right here. Every penny goes to the Police Union Charitable foundation. The RCMP here in Canada are usually the first to find abused children so they use this money to help them. We also contribute to a home for street children here in Vancouver. I totally agree with you. If each person did just one little part we could put a stop to a lot of abuse and help those that have already endured to much pain.

My names is Holly! I like your site it's great it's too the point. I was sexually abuse at age 12yrs. By my father. This happen in 1969 and their wasn't any help at that time. My family life when I was child wasn't good at all. I have a brother & sister they were sexually abuse too but worse then me. I can't figure out how can people that do this kind of abuse live with them self. Thank you! Hello Paul. Just read the rest of your page, and all I can say is that I am stunned, you have such an important message to get across to people, I am sorry I cannot relate to your story, however, I can see how your story could help someone get it all out in the open. What this world needs is more openess instead of privacy... Privacy hurts, and so does openess, however, I believe that getting it out releases tension, anger, and bottled up grudge, and help other people to see what they can do about their situation. You have a powerful story, I would suggest you promote it on webrings such as messages with meaning, or any of the hundreds of webrings our there.

I applaude Paul on his work. It takes a great deal of courage and forbearance to put up with societies attempt to use their blinders when viewing the plight of children everywhere... And society likes it even less when we survivors speak out... after all we were supposed to forget the horrors we experienced as children, right? Wrong... I've spoken out for years... now I am working on my story on my website... It's taking a lot of time to write, because of the pain of having to look at all of the hurt, betrayal, and pain right in the face. It's going slowly, but with the support of others like me I'm managing. However in saying this... Why do you have Dean Tong's sight attached to your resources... This movement to disbelieve children who suffer years of sexual abuse is right along with the false memory foundation... I say here and now you cannot implant false memories into adults... It just bothers me that this man's resources are made available on this site. I was lucky, I was believed. I know many who were not.
