In the late sixties,Peter formed his own company called "The Breakthrough Influence Company"(BRINCO). BRINCO was formed with the idea that Peter could produce both records and movies.Starting in 1971 and lasting through 1978 Peter had little going on although he did serve a short term for drug possession. After he returned to Southern California, he married Barbra Iannoli and together thy had a son, Ivan in 1975 Peter took a teaching job as a music, social studies, and math teacher at Pacific High Hills School. He stayed there only a year and a half
In 1986 Peter was convinced to join Peter & Davy in the 20th Annerverserary Tour of The Monkees. He toured from 1986-1989. During that time he preformed solo shows as well. After the tours he returned to California.
Life has not always been good to Peter. He has been married and divorced three times, and is a recovering alcoholic and reformed drug user. He has been completely clean scince 1981. Peter is currently working with his band, Shoe Suede Blues.
