SHIP SPECS

Imperial Klingon Vessel
K't'inga Class Battlecruiser

The IKV Bayou Serpent is a K't'inga class battlecruiser. An upgraded version of the D-7 battlecruiser, this design is the oldest in the Empire and is still in use.A long neck connects the engineering hull with the command hull. The bridge is in a rounded tower on top of the command hull. The K't'inga is slightly smaller than the D-7 which had protective panels covering most of the vessel. With the introduction of the Bird-of-Prey,primarily used for scouting, the K't'inga started being used for patrol and combat duty.Like all other Klingon ships the K't'inga is equipped with a cloak.Production on the K't'inga has slowed since the introduction of the Vor'cha and Negh'Var class ships but the K't'inga is still widely used and will be for a long time to come.
