"Quake 3 is my best gaming experience, it kicks all games asses, I fragged grunt(one of my mates) with a shotgun and I still see his stinkin face at night!"

Frosty840
"The moment Faye Wong started singing... sigh. Magic..."

Gecko
"I remember powering my Megadrive for the first time and sitting in front of the demo for about 10mins before I realised I wasn't actually playing!"

"Best moment has to be when I first played wipEout. Abosolutely stunning! No other game has impressed me in terms of graphics, although wipeout's gameplay wasn't exactly ground-breaking. But back in 95...it was really something."

Hedon
"Some seiken3 moment I bet. It's an awesome game."

Jadelin
"Greatest? That would have to be when I finally beat FF8. The ending was worth it."

Leeza_chan
"When I first time saw the "Stream of Time" in Tales of Phantasia."

Magus
"When I got 1 hour 36 minutes with 100% items on Super Metroid (TM). It took me a few weeks to get. :)"

Monjo
"My all-time number on gaming experience. I love football. And there was a time, during my Amiga days when I would buy every football game I could afford. One such game was 'Football Glory' which had a unique moment in videogaming, when a streaker ran accross the pitch. The best moment that I was responsible for myself though, came about on 'Premier Manager 3' on Amiga. It was two-thirds of the way through the season, and I had led the mighty Us (Colchester United) to the pinnacle of English football. However, due to a rather large bank problem, debts of around £25million, I got the sack. Only to land a job as manager at Second Division Grimsby Town, who were tenth at the time and it was just twenty games from the end of the season."

"That afternoon was a fantastic time, as a quick change of formation, a reshuffle of players, a couple of choicely sales, and one ace buy, brought about a massive change in fortune. Winning seventeen of the remaining games, I led them to footballing glory, and by bitter-sweet irony, my old-team, were pipped to the post by Liverpool! Oh, how I love the beautiful game."

MrKev
"Perhaps the first games I owned - Kings Quest 1,2 and 3...
Or the day I got Space Quest 3, complete with Two Guys glasses and nose...
Or the first time I played Civilisation...
Or Mario...
Or Mario 64...
Or Goldeneye - that was amazing...
Too many to name. Games are great."

"My first real gaming experience hit me during a session on my C64, I was actually playing Magic land Dizzy at the time, and I had been in the zone for a few hours, I then solved the final puzzle and could smell vistory! I got there, and got to see the end screen...the music was playing, and I had a smile on my face so big, and I was on a such a high that I didn't want to turn the C64 off...I left the end screen on all day, it was then that I realised the true power of playing games. The joy it could give you, the moments of sheer frustration...yet, it all seemed worth it when I got to the see the end screen. Magic land Dizzy was the first real game I can remember completing, and it was from that day on that I began to play games, not just for fun, but to finish them, to prove I was the best, I wanted to experience that trill I got from completing Magic land Dizzy again...That was my first real gaming experience, yet my all time favourite happened not so long ago."

"The year was 1996, and it was the week of christmas, the system was Playstation, the game Tomb Raider. I was in for one of my best gaming weeks ever, I was not only in for a great week of gamesplaying, but also one of my greatest adventures yet. Every second of every day that week, I spend searching them tombs, fighting creatures and living a dream. Too many of my greatest memories are in this game, such as the moment you enter St Francis Folly, that first enconter with the T-Rex, it was all so real down to the sheer quality of the visuals...the atmosphere the game created was 2nd to none. I honestly can say that Tomb raider is the greatest gamesplaying experience I have had so far, I serious feel as if I searched them tombs, as if It was my adventure...this feeling I have never experinced before, and I am still to get that feeling again."

"So there it is, my greatest gamesplaying moment, there have been other great set peices, such as the sneaking around and tension of metal gear Solid, the battles with Bowser in mario64, the joy of winning the title in Monaco GP2 on the Megadrive and seeing Senna say I was the best, the emotions of FFVII and FFVIII, but Tomb Raider got inside of me...it allowed me to live my dreams. It had great moments from start to finish, and these feelings will live with me until the day I die...the sign of a great gaming experience!"

Naix
"That'd have to be when playing DragonballZ: Legend of the Super Saiyan, and finding the two "Secrets" near the end, beating Frieza, and finding a Vegeta Super Saiyan to kick my ass after the credits"

NegaDeath
"Hmmm, beating super mario bros. Hey I was just a little kid, beating that game was huge for me."

S8N
"The very finest moment in gaming for me was when I first played X-Wing. It was the first Pc game I ever really played. It had all the speech and pretty awesome graphics for the time. I got so wrapped up in the game I felt like I was really there in Star Wars. It is hard to describe to someone but I am sure most people here understand that moment when you really feel like you are living out your fantasy."

"The other one would be when you are playing a game, 1st person shooters are best for this, when you know you are going to die. A Rocket is hurtling towards you at insane speed, you know there is no escape and you are going to die but that short moment seems to last for such a long time. I am sure everyone has noticed the smiley faces on the Flak Cannon grenades just before they get hit in the face, yet in actual fact they are only visible for like a fraction of a second."

Sage_Acrin
"This may be odd, but mine's when Aeris got stabbed."

SenorDingDong@Co-op
"When I could 'feel' the game? Hmm...perhaps when I bought a rumbling analog controller heh heh. Acutally, playing Metal Gear Solid was a great moment."

Socrates
"Getting out of the Vortex Rikers for the first time in Unreal."

X-Sykodad
"When that Medusa chick died in Seiken Densetsu 1 (also known as "Final Fanatsy Adventure" in the US and "Mystic Quest" in Europe). A Gameboy game, btw."
