Ok--this for all the eager guys out there; I'll go ahead and get this out of the way.
Ok, now I'll be serious. I am a 21-year old graduate of Center High School in the tiny town of Center, Texas. After graduation, I moved to Denton, TX to attend the University of North Texas. I originally planned to get a B.S. in chemistry and proceed to medical school, but after my first semester I realized that I had fallen in love with pharmacy. I have worked as a nationally certified pharmacy technician for over two years, and I truly believe that I have found my calling. I recently left UNT, only three hours away from my senior year--I think I did pretty well for only two years of college. :)
I am now a senior about to finish my fourth (out of 10) clinical rotation in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (or Northeast Louisiana University). I lost my 4.0 GPA a looong time ago, but you won't find me too heartbroken--I'm under much less pressure and I can spend more time learning the material than concentrating on the grade. As you can imagine, the Doctor of Pharmacy program is very demanding, so I don't really have much time for the things I used to do. I love music; writing poetry; and my live-in fiancé, Eric. Really, there's not much to know about me, except that I like to think I have a big heart, and I am passionately against any form of bigotry. Love people for who they are!
Yes, I am living in Louisiana right now, but don't expect me to stay here for the rest of my life. I'm going to graduate in May 2006. I also plan to move back to Texas in 2006. :) Don't get me wrong, there are some really nice people here in LA, but I could never live in this state permanently. After graduation, Eric and I will get married and move to the DFW metroplex--I'm not really sure where, but I do have a fondness for Lewisville/The Colony/Plano. I guess that this country girl has really fallen in love with the city--I miss Dallas like crazy every day (especially the kick-ass radio stations!)
