OUTSIDE
Deep within my soul, there is a stirring.
I feel pity, and then a jealous rage.
My heart breaks down, like a small girl crying.
I long for what's theirs; they're happy; they are sage.
I feel pity and then a jealous rage.
My mind careens like a runaway train.
I long for what's theirs; they're happy; they are sage.
I beg something to take away the pain.
My mind careens like a runaway train.
I scream, "Why do they treat me so badly?"
I beg something to take away the pain,
but I decide to stay, and not to flee.
I scream, "Why do they treat me so badly?"
My heart breaks down, like a small girl crying,
but I decide to stay, and not to flee.
Deep within my soul, there is a stirring.
I wanna go home!
Nah, I just wanna read more of this really cool poetry!
