             This is a climbing vine reaching a length of 10 m. the stems ae about 1 cm thick, somewhat fleshly with scattered protuberances. The leaves are thin, egg-shaped, measuring 6-12 cm long and 7-12 cm wide, pointed at the tip and heart-shaped at the base, smooth and shiny. The stem is bitter in taste.

             It is found in thickets in nearby towns and can be propagated by stem cuttings.
