             It is an erect, perennial, aromatic herb, somewhat hairy, 30-60 cm in height.  The leaves are alternate, pinnately lobed, ovate to oblong ovate and toothed.  The flowers are at the terminal, with heads forming a cluster which are yellow in color.  It flowers during December to March.

             It is cultivated as ornamental throughout the country and can be propagated by stems by stems with roots and terminal cuttings.
