Reflux esophagitis is an inflammation of the esophagus and is often caused by acid from the stomach refluxing back up into the esophagus. We commonly experience this as heartburn. This may or may not be accompanied by a hiatal hernia, and possibly other symptoms. The antioxidants in Wormwood will decrease the over-acidity and protect against inflammation and ulceration.
