Myrrh

Herpes
Viral herpes outbreaks can be painful and aggravating and take weeks to fully heal. Tincture of myrrh can be applied topically with a cotton swab several times a day. Myrrh will help to dry herpes blisters and speed the healing process.

Acne
Myrrh can be of great benefit in the treatment of acne breakouts. Myrrh has astringent and antiseptic properties that can treat and prevent pimples. Add 4 to 6 drops of myrrh tincture to ¼ cup of pure water. Apply to the skin with a cotton ball to use as an astringent.
