Once in the outback there lived a horse by the name of Mandrake. He was the meanest critter you ever set eyes on. There wasn't a man that could ride him, going by his name any man that mounted him disappeared very quickly. Then a top American Rodeo Star came to Australia, heard of this Mandrake and made a wager of $200.00 (100 pounds) that he could ride him. The Big event was set up in N.S.W. And thousands of people turned up to see if this braggart from U.S.A. Was as good as he stated. On the day the Braggart mounted Mandrake, the horse then went into action, twisting and turning and a lot of nasty tricks, and then it happened. Mandrake got one of his hooves caught in the stirrup and the Yank said, "Geez, if you're getting on I'm getting off."
