This year's (2003-2004) Herkimer County Dairy Princess is Esther Prokopienko of Mohawk.  Her alternates are Melissa Struckle of Jordanville and Jennifer Caiola of Frankfort.  The members of her court include:   Chelsea Hammont, Kristin Hrobuchack, Lindsay Feisthamel, and Amy Dolan.

   Hey everyone, It's almost a new year!  Our annual banquet was held on April 26, 2003.  It was certainly a great success!  This past year was the 4oth Herkimer County Dairy Princess Pageant in Herkimer County, and we had the honor of having 25 of the Dairy Princesses from the previous 39 years attend the pageant. 
    It is now about most of the way through my reign, and I have been very busy doing all that I can to represent the Herkimer County dairy farmers and promote dairy products well.  But, not to worry, I have no intentions of saying good-bye as of yet!  I am open to any suggestions you may have, so don't hesitate to contact me!  This school year I have been busy attending local elementary and Junior High schools, presenting my school programs.  I will also be writing a great number of newspaper articles and attending the farm meetings.
     February 17:  NYS Dairy Princess Pageant
   The results are in: I am honored to have been chosen one of the top 7 finalists for New York State Dairy Pirncess.  My heartfelt congratulations goes out to Sonya, Justine, and Emily, I love you guys, and I am soooooo excited for you!  Have a great year!
     I also can't forget to mention what our whole purpose for doing this is.  We are here to help the sales of dairy products and the farmers who make them.  Major support for this program comes from the Herkimer County Dairy farmers and the American Dairy Council and Dairy Association (ADADC).
