This essay was taken from another web site of mine and expresses opinons not everyone will agree with, it was also a while ago so not all it says I may agree with anymore, except the parts adressing Herm's.Tt is true that many, furs and non-furs alike, enjoy hermaphrodites for their 'freakish' qualities ..or for the fact they can have their homosexual fantasy without having to face the full social statement of going against the traditional 'values' of what is masculine and feminie (ie. It looks like a woman ..so its ok). For this I have long since ignored the idea of herms entirely.

Over years of personal discovery I have ventured to understand the realities of our genders ..in this time I have seen the terrible things done to women, and the mind's enslavement of men due to our masculine/feminie ways. I now see that those stereotypes however put into our society and taught to our children creates a world were women are less and men are mindless beasts looking for the next 'score'. Why do you think Men are the primary rapists and men with little self security blame it on their mothers ...surely an evil cycle. For this I have endeavoured and came up with this slogan .."I am not a sex". "I" meaning the whole of my parts ..my intelligence ..my will ...all that I believe in and all that I have a love for, "am not a sex" ..meaning that my gender and primal urges will not fully identify me as a person. I have the will and consciousness to become anything I wish, I am NOT bound by my gender in any way and have made sure of that by reconditioning myself and stripping myself of many mental securities and primal goals we males have after all they will not matter in time as I die, I might as well enjoy a life were I am secure and not bound to pointless gender driven goals. To this I do not hold myself to any gender and completely rule it out as a factor for finding another INDIVIDUAL.

To my point ...Looking at a picture one day of a herm I then imagined two herms ..also thinking of a story at the same time I saw those herms fall in love. Then came the day they were to make love ..but who is the 'man' and who is the 'woman'. It came to me that neither is until their personalties come into play. Each could be the impregnator and each could be the pregnant, and the whole of their selves would decide which. They were no longer bound by their gender ..and in this cerebral society they could be whatever they wished and by their choices possibly know the splendour of being the mother and also the proud father...a completion of mental and physical unity of the genders. And furthermore they stand as a challenge, as they exist, of the 'natural' way of things. They prove that nature has no way but the wild chaos and random chance leaving us to make our own ways whatever each individual's may be.

I do not acknowledge the use of these people for purely pornographic means ..that demeans all that they can be ..as well it makes less every sexual freedom possible to us. A comparison to religion.....

I see herms as an ideal people and not as a carnival attraction ..their beauty in terms of freedom far out shine any super model or muscle man. And as a self conditioning I have made myself a Herm in persona. Others can have their own ideals ..this is mine.
