A/N: Strange little thing I wrote to help overcome writer's block and get to my Exploring the Character: The Dursleys.
Bitter. Cryptic. I wrote this during Chinese class, so it came out twisted. Don't ask. Also demonstrates the powers of
punctuation. Guess at the characters if you must. Supposedly about revenge in the grave, lost true love, and tells the tale of the
death, if you want a bit of an explanation. The grammar is done on purpose. I don't know what was wrong with me at the
moment. Will probably be another composition that receives, "God, you are a disturbed person." feedback. Please R/R.

Tears Behind a Smile

by Silence Unheard

tears behind a smile.

come and hold
me. He came empty
Funeral rites started
No end to what is begun

wishful thinking

i wish i was alive
to accept the Other one
He really mattered
Instead moss sprung

heaven's tears roll down my face

Maligned entity
Fooled me, I
only. He said!
Dirt shoveled in my eyes

eyes he said he loved

Cold and cruel
burning ice. I
sought the warmth
Gone.

Remember the Spring, summer day…?

Fresh candied apples
Warm, dripping honey
Captivated, crunchy bite
poison. lying inside

innocence of the serpent

Devil's own spawn
alligator's salty tears
Lucifer! oh
Lucifer!

saw him walk away

Saw her. Surprised her.
tears. behind a smile.
said she would Leave
Saw him cry.

tears behind. A smile.

A/N: The characters should be remotely obvious to you. Please R/R. I want to see if my, "Oh God, you need mental help!"
theory is correct. =)
