Summary: Blaise broods.

I never claimed to be important. Hell, I never claimed to be anything. So why is it so hard to accept that they didn't choose me? They probably never even saw me as an option; no one sees me. I live at Hogwarts, attending classes, receiving passable--and sometimes Outstanding, but never the most Outstanding--grades. In fifth year, I received five Outstanding OWLs, more than him. But they didn't choose me.

So now, he'll have the room to himself, the one that's connected to hers through a common room. Everyone knows it, though no one says anything.

It makes one wonder, though. Why isn't she putting up more of a fight? Why doesn't she yell and scream at the injustice of it all? Then again, what unjustice is there for her? She's Head Girl, at the top of all her classes--and she has a Quidditch-playing boyfriend who obviously loves her.

What could she ever see in me? I don't have the grades like her, I don't have the prestige like her friend, and I'm not on the Quidditch team--like her boyfriend. What could she ever see in me, Blaise Zabini? Nothing. Nothing at all, because I'm not Blaise Zabini--I'm no one.
