NEW YORK HOUSING ASSOCIATION
The New York Housing Association's Volunteers provide advocacy for people in the New York State area. We are looking to form additional Chapters in other areas. Contact us for details how you can help.
The New York Housing Association provides help to problems or questions about the different types of governmental programs that out there for low income families, seniors and the disable.
If a volunteer doesn't know the answer we will try to refer you to a agency that might be able to help you.
Being all volunteer we need your help, these are some of the things the organization wants to organized;
1.Food and Clothes Drives
2.Annual Christmas Card Collections to benefit local Nursing Home Residents and Vets.
3. Collect Brand New Unwrapped Toys for birth-18 yrs of age for our Secret Santa Drive.
4. Collections of personal care products and or product samples.
The NYHA is not a legal service organization and we can not give legal advice or can we go to court for anyone.
The NYHA also maintains a Resource Center Library. Which contains a range of material from different organizations and agencies.
The NYHA is not a charity organization and does not ask for money to operate. the NYHA operates solely on the support of its volunteers.
