Links Rated PG-13 to R

Here's a listing of many other webcomics that I enjoy, and that you might like too!

I said it before, and I'll say it again. Each one is given a brief description and a maturity rating. Heed the maturity ratings! If you click on a comic and it scars you for life, it's not my fault; YOU decided to click onto this page. Each rating has a description stating why it's been given such a rating, so use them to help you figure out which comic you want to read.

ACCIDENTAL CENTAURS - http://www.accidentalcentaurs.com/

RATING: R (Occaisional language, violence, sexual situations)

DESCRIPTION: Alex and Samantha were humans until they got trapped in "otherSpace" (No, I did not capitalize incorrectly), a dimension populated by mythical creatures. They've now become Centaurs, and roam the world with their sarcastic genie friend Lenny. Most of the folks they encounter are traditional mythical beings, but their foes are a species of Satyrs that mutated into freakish giant starfish. Weird, but cool. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.

ANGELS & ALIENS - http://www.littlelevers.com/Angels/

RATING: R (Sexual situations, occaisional nudity, gender-swapping, language)

DESCRIPTION: One day, Trenton Granville is a young, talented businessman used to fast cars and fast women... the next he's Therese, a woman with amazing abilities. Soon after, he's recruited by the Angels, a secret organization whose origins are literally out-of-this-world. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.

BLUE CRASH KIT - http://www.bluecrashkit.com/

RATING: PG-13/R (Occaisional language, sexual situations, and some characters who I think look naked in a strip or two)

DESCRIPTION: Super-strong Blue (AKA Talon), pyrokinetic Crash (AKA Firecat), and species-shifting Kit (With too many alter-egos to keep track of) are a threesome (In more than one sense of the word, if you get my drift) of superheroes. Between a giant turkey, tentacled alien bunnies, an evil Tim Curry lookalike, and cyborg redneck ninja monkeys, these guys have to deal with the strangest supervillains you've ever seen. Beware of bad puns! SPECIAL KUDOS: The comic's artists gave me some tips in the construction of my website. The site has a tutorial for people wanting to start their own comics, plus I got further advice by sending an e-mail. If you want to start your own webcomic, this is a nice place to look!)

COMING UP VIOLET - http://www.webcomicsnation.com/bdaniel/violet/series.php

RATING: PG-13 (Occaisional language and sexual language)

DESCRIPTION: It's been a few years since the events that took place in the last Fur Will Fly comic (Which you might want to have a look at first; scroll down the page to find a link to it), and Violet's grown up a bit since then. Now she's a teenager, and her parents are moving to England. She, however, is staying behind in America with Brad, Page, their daughter Beatrice, and a human girl who suddenly and inexplicably appeared in Violet's closet.

CROSSWORLDS - http://www.crossworlds.ws/

RATING: PG-13 (Violence, female character who seems to have four of something most women have only two of)

DESCRIPTION: This comic is a spin-off of Accidental Centaurs (Scroll up the page to see the link), featuring characters that appeared in a few guest comics. The main cast includes mercenary-turned-bar-owner "Woodeye", his wife Blossom, widowed blacksmith Nahrm, head deputy Karl, and the spell-casting Kalif. All of the characters, being from otherSpace, are mythological beings, rather than humans, by the way. Did I forget to mention that? SPECIAL KUDOS: Creators Thom Khatt and Darin Brown helped get me onto the 910CMX forums, gave me some feedback, and were commissioned to do an awesome fanart piece of Titanium Maiden. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.

DAN AND MAB'S FURRY ADVENTURES (Or DMFA for short) - http://www.missmab.com/index.php

RATING: PG-13 (Sexual situations, demons, cannibalistic cows)

DESCRIPTION: A furry comic about the denizens of Lost Lake, including hero-turned incubus Dan, Fae-kitty Mab, and a slew of other unusual fantasy-style furries. With action, romantic drama, magic, science, weird little purple fuzzy things called Mows, and a cow that will eat burgers, there's a bit of something for everyone, no matter how weird you are.

DANDY & COMPANY - http://www.dandyandcompany.com/

RATING: PG/PG-13 (Occasional alcoholic references during some fillers)

DESCRIPTION: Dogs are supposed to be "man's best friend" and loyal to a fault. Someone REALLY should tell Dandy that. Dandy is a mischeivous mutt, bent on making life a bit more interesting for himself, even if that means making life harder for others (Perhaps that "even" should be an "especially"). But when tormenting his owner, a boy named Bernard, isn't interesting enough, something else is usually going on... be it an alien invasion, an attack of badly-drawn evil twins, or a troublemaking demon. Needless to say, life is rarely boring for Dandy and Bernard.

DEVIL'S PANTIES - http://devilspanties.keenspot.com/

RATING: R (Language)

DESCRIPTION: Don't let the satanic-sounding name fool you. This comic is actually autobiographical; the artist simply writes comics based on the actual, real-live wackiness in her own life. If you've ever had that one crazy, fun-loving friend who acts like a fourth-grader who downed a few too many Pixy Stix and love him or her for it, you'll love the main character of this comic. Truth really is stranger - and funnier - than fiction. SPECIAL KUDOS: Artist Jennie Breeden gave me some feedback at 2006's Wizard World Philly (And mailed me a book I bought from her and left at her booth by mistake... I'm so forgetful...)

DIESEL SWEETIES - http://www.dieselsweeties.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Mildly bad language, sexual humor, and one or two instances of a cat hiney)

DESCRIPTION: A sprite comic featuring all original sprites. It chronicles Clango, a robot, and his various human and robot friends. Every character seems to have had a relationship with another character at some point in the comic, it seems. If you like video game-style sprites, randomness, and unusual analogies, Diesel Sweeties is the comic for you.

DOC RAT - http://www.docrat.com.au/

RATING: PG-13 (Occaisional sexual language, including in one of its ads)

DESCRIPTION: This comic comes from the land down under, and it's about a doctor. A doctor who's a rat. With furry gags and many good-natured jabs at the medical profession, this is a good and simple comic for people who don't want to see yet another comic with complicated plotlines and heavy drama. Good, pure, and simple fun.

DOMINIC DEEGAN: ORACLE FOR HIRE - http://www.dominic-deegan.com/

RATING: R (Occaisional language, occaisional violence)

DESCRIPTION: Dominic is a seer - a psychic who has visions. In a world of orcs and magic and stuff like that, he constantly finds himself using his powers to save the world, and help out his friends. Some of the colorful characters he calls friends include his girlfriend (Who's very beautiful except for her tusks. Yes, tusks.), his talking cat who has a fondness for aliteration, and his once-crippled white mage brother.

EL GOONISH SHIVE - http://www.elgoonishshive.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Gender-swapping)

DESCRIPTION: An androgenous-looking science nerd with a transformation ray. His martial-arts practicing best friend who has a female clone. A girl who's a species-changing genetic experiment. These are just a few of the strange characters in El Goonish Shive. If the constant changing of species and genders doesn't bother you, you'll likely find yourself enjoying the emotional depth of its characters. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.

EVIL INC. - http://www.evil-comic.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Occaisional sexual situations)

DESCRIPTION: A spinoff of the recently-ended Greystone Inn webcomic, it's about your average company... for supervillains. Combining office humor with superhero comics, this is an unusual but intriguing hybrid between two classic comic genres. I'd highly recommend reading Greystone Inn first to understand some of the characters - most notably Lightning Lady - but it's not necessary. SPECIAL KUDOS: Brad Guigar, the comic's artist, gave me some advice at 2006 Wizard World Philly, as well as further advice online.

FUR WILL FLY - http://www.jadephoenix.org/fwf/

RATING: PG-13 (Occaisional sexual situations and a teeny bit of violence)

DESCRIPTION: A human named Brad finds himself teleported to a dimension populated by anthropomorphic animals thanks to squirrel scientest Stewart's invention. Brad must keep the fact that he's a human a secret; luckily, his friends, roommates, and new girlfriend Page (A white mouse) are willing to help their hairless - and somewhat dim-witted - friend. Which is good, especially when werewolves, possessed sock puppets, and Men In Black-esque government agents get thrown into the mix. This comic is no longer being updated, but its spin-off comic, Coming Up Violet, is up and running.

GEEKS NEXT DOOR - http://www.geeksnextcomic.com/

RATING: PG-13/R (Occaisional sexual situations, language, alcoholic references, and one or two cases of nudity)

DESCRIPTION: Follow the continuing saga of Jessi and Matt, two geeks who in love (based on two real-life geeks in love), as well as their incredibly creepy and annoying roommate Barry and occaisionally Jessi's sister Maggie. There's also some jokes about video games, RPG's, superheroes, Harry Potter, anime, and other geeky stuff... as well as drunken frat zombies. I'd also like to mention that if you ever wondered what video-game villain Sephiroth would look like as a dinosaur, this comic is for you.

GIRLS WITH SLINGSHOTS - http://www.daniellecorsetto.com/gws.html

RATING: R (Language, sexual situations, alcoholic references)

DESCRIPTION: Hazel Tellington's the star of this comic, a somewhat cynical, yet hopelessly romantic up-and-coming writer. She has a love of alcohol, a fairly busty best friend named Jamie, and a cactus with a sombrero and an Irish accent named McPedro. Yes, you heard that last part correctly. Fans of In the Puddle and The Devil's Panties will probably like this a lot.

I WAS KIDNAPPED BY LESBIAN PIRATES FROM OUTER SPACE!!! - http://www.drunkduck.com/I_Was_Kidnapped_By_Lesbian_Pirates_From_Outer_Space/

RATING: PG-13 (Sexual situations, alcoholic references, implied nudity)

DESCRIPTION: Susan was once a normal secretary until she was kidnapped by lesbian pirates from outer space! But soon, she grows to like her captors - particularly the Captain. Together they have lots of wacky adventures. This comic is a hilarious parody of retro comics of the late 50's and early 60's, as evidenced by retro-looking dots used to color and shade pictures and by the intentionally cheesy dialogue. It's a lot less risque than you might expect from the title, though.

IN THE PUDDLE - http://inthepuddle.com/index.php

RATING: R (Sexual references, some censored nudity, language)

DESCRIPTION: Much like The Devil's Panties, in terms of style, as they're both fairly autobiographical (Not too surprising, as they're both sort of "sister sites", their respective artists being friends). Still, In The Puddle has its own individual flavor; with pastafarians, trips to Rehoboth Beach, and a baby bat (Awww!). Sadly, the comic no longer updates, but you can still check out the archives. SPECIAL KUDOS: Got some feedback from artist Christi Johnson at 2006 Wizard World Philly, as well as some online since then. I'm also a frequent visitor to her forum.)

LAS LINDAS - http://www.katbox.net/laslindas/

RATING: PG-13/R (Language, sexual situations, censored nudity, alcoholic references)

DESCRIPTION: Mora Linda is a cowgirl. And when I say "cowgirl", I don't mean a girl who rides horses and wrangles and such, but a girl who's actually a cow. Yes, it's another furry comic, as you may have guessed. Mora is fighting to save her family's farm, and finds herself enlisting the help of lecherous cat Miles, den-mother bunny Taffy, mysterious bull Minos (Whom she has a crush on), and several other semi-willing folk to assist her.

MUERTITOS - http://muertitos.comicgenesis.com/

RATING: PG-13-R (Language, crude humor, sexual humor, and a few rare instances of nudity)

DESCRIPTION: A foursome of friends, consisting of a skeleton boy named Honeo, the chubby ghost girl he likes named Yuko, his chain-smoking, sarcastic lantern ghost friend Lafcadio, and the perky, cute mummy girl Ankhemutes, living in the afterlife. Its style of humor is reminiscent of The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park, so if you watch those shows, you'll like this.

POLYMER CITY CHRONICLES - http://polymercitychronicles.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Mildly bad language, sexual jokes, chesty female characters)

DESCRIPTION: Once a video game-based, humorous comic, PCC recently became a bit more serious, adding a plotline, backgrounds, and color. Featuring mad scientist Dr. Otto Bonn (Whose idea of an effective home security system includes dynamite), his alien wife Andrah (A blue-skinned, white-mohawked amazonian alien whose muscularity rivals Titanium Maiden's), sheep-like alien Sheeri (Whose appearance, in the most recent plotline, has been changed more often and more drastically than Madonna and Micheal Jackson combined), and spectral Mistress Laura (A scantily-clad villainous with two ghostly dragon underlings), this comic's characters will hold your attention, as will the beautifully-colored comics in recent strips. NOTE: The site is moving to a new server, so you can't view it at the moment. There's also been a bit of a writer's block-induced hiatus in recent months.

QUESTIONABLE CONTENT - http://questionablecontent.net/

RATING: R (Language, violence, sexual situations, alcoholic references)

DESCRIPTION: This comic chronicles the lives of a few unusual individuals who live and love with one another. Y'see, Marten (A passive, indie-rock-loving guy) used to like his roommate Faye (A sarcastic, occasionally violent, but actually kind-hearted girl who has some issues to work out), who seemed to sorta like him back, but now he's become the boyfriend of Faye's friend/boss Dora (A "semi-reformed goth" who owns a coffee shop); but it's okay because they're all still friends so there's no awkward love triangle between the three of them. Which is good, because things are frequently awkward for their friends, such as the quasi-maniacal anthro-PC (Think "personal computer" meets "toy robot") named Pintsize, or their lovable, OCD-ridden neighbor Hannelore, or the seemingly (key word there...!) dull-witted Raven. There was also a girl named Sara, but she was eaten by an Allosaurus. Sad, really. Manages to work in humor regarding music, society, and philosophy, while still being funny enough for anyone to appreciate, even if you don't get all the pop-culture references.

RUBY THURSDAY- http://www.ruby-thursday.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Violence, sexy pinup donation images)

DESCRIPTION: In this world, there are humans and there are nabes, the latter being anthropomorphic animals. Some humans are priestesses, who give up their lives so as to redeem mankind for their sins. One dying priestess must be replaced by a five-year-old girl named Shilis, who seems rather accepting of her fate for someone so young. She's being escorted to a Switch ceremony by the feline Luce, the rodent-like Otoh, the tiger-esque Fiamma, and the also feline Jay. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.

SAILORSUN.ORG - http://www.sailorsun.org/index.php

RATING: PG-13 (Gender-swapping, violence, sexual situations)

DESCRIPTION: Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of your favorite webcomics? According to this comic, there's no drawing involved; it's all about actors playing roles, like for a movie or television show. One actor , a 20-year-old named Brad, wound up taking on a new role for a Sailor Moon fanfic... little did he know that it was a female role, and he'd need to be zapped by a transformation gun, which turned him into a girl named Bay. The studio making the fanfic closed down without turning him back to normal, so now she's stuck as a female, out of work, and living with her 18-year-old daughter from the future who doesn't know that her mom used to be a guy. Oh, and there's a talking cat who likes pancakes. I like pancakes too. Pancakes are good. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.

SORE THUMBS - http://www.sorethumbsonline.com/

RATING: R (Language, violence, sexual situations, controversial religous/political humor)

DESCRIPTION: Super-liberal Cecania and super-conservative Fairbanks are sister and brother who work at Sore Thumbs, a video game store. Mostly, they argue about political issues, and Fairbanks sounds like a Stephen Colbert-esque caricature of conservative types. The comic gets very, very political and can get very disturbing. Not recommended for conservatives or for people who aren't prepared for the comic's maturity rating. If you can't handle it, don't say I didn't warn you.

TWOKINDS - http://2kinds.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Violence, sexual situations, a human and a furry sorta character who love each other)

DESCRIPTION: A young man named Trace Legacy wakes up in a field, having lost all his memories save for his name. He meets up with Flora, a "keidran" (An anthropomorphic being; this one specifically resembling a tigress), and Keith, a "basitin" (Another anthropomorphic animal-like race). As he unravels more and more of his past, he discovers that his and Flora's races are bitter enemies, making his love for her all the more forbidden... and dangerous.

VG CATS - http://www.vgcats.com/

RATING: R (Language, sexual situations, lots of violence)

DESCRIPTION: Gray cat Leo and pink cat Aeris talk about and parody famous video games (And occaisionally movies and cartoons, but mostly video games). Exceedingly violent and sick at times, but very funny. Sometimes a simple premise just works, cuz this is one of the biggest video game-based comics out there. Also is incredibly-well drawn.

WAPSI SQUARE - http://www.wapsisquare.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Occaisional language, alcoholic references, chesty female characters, spooky stuff)

DESCRIPTION: The crazy lives of people who live at Wapsi Square, but mostly about Monica, who works at a museum of archaeology and befriends the Aztec god of alcohol. Magic, inner demons, and a short, ample-chested, archaeology-loving girl trying to make sense of the madness. What's not to love?

THE WOTCH - http://www.thewotch.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Gender-swapping)

DESCRIPTION: This one time, at band camp, there was a girl and a flute. No, it's not that kind of story; the flute was magic, and it imbued her with the powers of the Wotch (Like a witch but more powerful). With her best friends Robin and Jason - two guys who are the only ones who know of her magical identity - she struggles to gain control over her powers and discover the purpose of the Wotch. Of course, lots of wacky adventures occur as a result of some spells gone wrong, the most common side effect being gender-swapping (So if you like El Goonish Shive, you'll probably like this comic too). This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community... heck, it started the 910CMX Community.

THE WOTCH: CHEER! - http://cheer.thewotch.com/

RATING: PG-13 (Implied nudity, sexual references, a teeny bit of violence)

DESCRIPTION: A spin-off comic from The Wotch, this comic features four cheerleaders who - unbeknownst to all but one of them - are under a spell (I won't say what it is, though... read The Wotch to find out!). Alex, Jo, Lita, and Sam have a lot of adventures, but seem to be only slightly aware that their school and town are home to forces they've yet to comprehend. A nice mix of semi-realistic, high school drama/comedy and fantasy elements. And cheerleaders. This comic is a part of the 910CMX Community.
