Starry Knight by Herofox
(Outside a weapons factory in the desert, an orange blur races by, followed by a grey one. The orange one stops for a second and underneath it are the words "Tails=Fastas Foxus". He starts running again. The grey blur stops and the words read "Storm= Lobo ignoramus".)
Storm: Tails, give up! You're going to jail! You're a dead duck!
Tails: He never learns. Maximum speed!
(He starts flying faster and escapes Storm. Later, Tails meets up with Saber. Saber throws a mecha over Tails, just missing him.)
Tails: Watch it with that thing! You just took ten years off my life!
Saber: You get plenty of exercise, so I'd say you've probably still got a few good years left.
(Suddenly, a large rumble could be heard. A great big purple tank approaches. Tails and Saber run. Antoine is driving the tank and Storm is in the passenger seat.) Storm: Faster! Catch them and I'll see you're decelerated with the legion do'ner! (Legion of honour in French.)
(Storm Steps on top with a megaphone.)
TAILS! LET YOURSELF BE ARESSTED BY ANTONIE IN ORDER TO PROMOTE BETTER NEGOTIONS BETWEEN THE MOBIANS AND THE FRENCH!
Saber: The logic of that escapes me?
Tails: Lets escape now and then figure out the logic later!
(They run and meet the other three.)
Flash: That is one big tank!
Bubble: So how do we beat it?
Tails: Same way we always do the job! Fire at it with every thing we've got!
Saber: Actually I think we just need to bust the tires.
Hound: Then can we smash it?
Saber: I guess.
Flash: Hope this doesn't ruin my manicure.
(Flash runs along one side of the tank popping the tires with her claws, and Bubble is using her spear to bust the ones on the other side. They high five each other when they're done.)
Tails: Ok boys, hit em now! FOX CLAW ROCKETS!
Hound: ELECTRIC TAIL!
Saber: SHARP SHOT!
(Blasts of blue, green, and purple shoot at the tank, creating huge dents in it.)
Tails: Now that that's over with lets go home.
Bubble: I'm sure those guys will too. Once they find a big enough jack!
(Our heroes laugh and head home. But at castle Acorn...)
Sally: You are weak Storm!
Storm: I think it's time to put my master plan into action!
Sally: Again?
Storm: You see love is a powerful thing m'lady. With the proper, how should I say this? Motivation! We can actually get Tails to work for us!
Sally: Really? How?
Storm: Do you remember that picture I showed you?
Sally: You mean...Ah ha ha! Devilishly clever my friend!
(On earth. Miles house.)
Miles: Yawn! Boy I'm tired. Being a super hero is exhausting.
Patch: Well I don't feel tired?
Miles: Patch you're just like Sonic. Always moving!
(Someone knocks on the door.)
Miles: Come in!
(It's Mia.)
Patch: I've got to go now.
Miles: Ok see ya.
Mia: Bye Patch.
Patch: Bye.
(He leaves.)
Mia: Tough day?
Miles: Yeah. Storm almost caught me today.
Mia: Ya know if he knew what he was doing he'd be pretty dangerous.
Miles: The main thing is he that he doesn't.
Mia: Anyway I'm going shopping. Dad forgot to get the groceries again.
Miles: Want me to come with you?
Mia: No thanks. You just rest. You've earned it.
(Before she finished talking Miles was already sound asleep. Mia covers him with a blanket.)
Mia: Sleep tight.
(She leaves the house. After a few seconds a gloved hand slaps over her mouth.)
Storm: Shut up! I don't want to be seen yet!
(He uses a nerve pinch to knock her unconscious. He then ties her to his back, and runs off with her.)
(A little further down the road, Ronnie meets up with Hank.)
Ronnie: Hank, how come you need me to pick flowers?
Hank: Since you're an animal guy I was hoping that you could sniff out the best ones.
(Storm rushes past.)
Hank: That looks like Miles in his Mobian form. Must be taking Mia for a run.
Ronnie: That's Storm!
Hank: What!? We better help!
(Looks around.)
Hank: Ronnie?
(Saber comes out of an ally.)
Saber: Get on!
(Hank gets on and Saber starts running after Storm.)
Storm: Not you again!
Saber (Sparks flying from his gauntlets): Sharp...
Hank: WAIT! If you use that you'll hurt Mia!
Saber: So what should I do?
Hank: Keep after him and hope that he tires out before you do!
(The chase continues. Saber follows Storm to the outskirts of town.)
Storm: Isn't that guy getting saddle sore yet!?
Saber: When we get back you're going on a diet Hank!
Hank: Will you just follow him?
Saber: How can I follow THAT!?
(He points up to a huge ship in the sky.)
Storm (throws down a videotape): Show this to Tails will ya?
(He jets off.)
(Later.)
Miles: YOU BIG FAT INCOMPEDENT PICE OF FLAB!!! You dare let Storm make off Mia and then live to tell the tale!? GET OUT!
Hank: Miles, try to calm down! It's not his fault.
Mile: That's right. IT'S YOURS!
Hank: ME!?
Miles: IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU BEING SO FAT, SABER COULD HAVE CAUGHT STORM!!!
Ronnie: Stop it! It's no ones fault!
Miles: I'm sorry guys. It's MY fault! I should have gone with her! Then I could have protected her!
Hank: Don't worry about it. Maybe this videotape will help?
(Hank puts it into the VCR and pushes PLAY. It shows Storm in a dark room.)
Storm: Ok Tails, you know the drill. I have the girl. You give in to my demands.
(Pulls out a list.)
Bring us the Chaos emeralds.
Well it looks like I forgot to write more demands on this thing. Anyway bring them to the old school house in Emerald hill at midnight. Chow for now!
(Tape stops.)
Miles: I will not stand for this kind of torture.
Ronnie: But he's got your girl.
Miles: NOOOOOOOO! What am I going to do? Oh the pain, oh the pain of it all!
Hank: You watch too much TV.
Ronnie: So what are we standing here for? Let's get going.
Miles: You...You have a plan?
Ronnie: No but when I do I'll tell you.
(Miles and Hank fall over in stupidity.)
Ronnie: Lets go any ways... wait I do have a plan, how about we take some fake emeralds to the meeting place, and get Mia back that way?
Hank: Hey that's as better than any idea that he's had in a while.
Miles: Your very philosophical for this time of day?
Ronnie: That's because I've just had some Cola and it's made me hyperactive.
Hank: Does that include you're brain as well?
Ronnie: Well duh...
Hank: Well it's as any good plan I've heard.
Miles: I'm having a De'ja vu experience here.
Ronnie: You can say that again.
Miles: I'm having a De'ja vu experience here.
Ronnie: You can say that again.
Miles: I'm having a De'ja vu experience here.
Ronnie: You can say that again.
Miles: I'm having a De'ja vu experience here.
Ronnie: You can say that again.
Hank: STOP DOING THAT AND RESCUE MY COUSIN!!!
Both: Yes sir!
(Both of them go to the ring gate, activate their ring gadgets and jump through the portal.)
Tails: Hey where's Knux?
Saber: Probably trying to get the mecha working again.
Knux: Someone call?
Saber: We need some fake emeralds to free Mia from Storm.
Knux: I new I would need em someday.
Tails: Need what?
Knux: These (he holds 7 emeralds in his hands.) these are fake chaos emeralds.
Saber: How long have you have these.
Knux: You made these for when people try to steal the emeralds. We'd let em have the fake ones. But we decided it was better to scatter them.
Tails: How come you never told us?
Knux: Well you knew, well...before you lost your memory.
Tails: Thanks Knuckles. C'mon Hound.
(They go to the old school and meet up with Hound, Flash & Bubble.)
Saber: Nice to see you guys.
Tails: Ok, so we all know the plan?
Flash: You go in, give Storm the emeralds, we bust in and take em out.
Tails: Good. But I need two of you to stay on the ground to take out any mechas that may show up.
Bubble: Saber and me can do the job!
(Saber gets a sweat drop.)
Flash: I'll go up to help you Tails. You name it, I can climb it!
Hound: Ok! A waterfall!
(**SLAP! ** Flash has a cross on her head and Hound has a red mark on his face.)
Tails: I'd better go before this gets ugly.
(He enters the building. After ascending several floors and falling into several traps, Tails finally reaches the room on the top floor. Mia is tide to a chair. All is dark except for the chair witch is covered in moonlight.)
Storm's voice: So, you finally made it.
(Storm walks into the light. He unties Mia and pulls her to the middle of the room.)
Storm: Here's the girl as agreed. MY part of the deal.
Tails: Here are the emeralds. (Throws the bag to Storm. He goes over to Mia and Hugs her.)
Mia: Oh Miles. I'm so sorry.
Tails: Don't worry about it.
Mia: But now he'll too powerful for you.
Tails: Well I've got a little surprise in store for him.
(Meanwhile. Outside.)
Saber: Flash, is something wrong?
Flash: Huh? No I was just thinking about a fairy tale I read once.
Saber: What was it about?
Flash: A Knight in shining armour rescuing his fair lady from a dragon. It kind of sounds like the current situation in there. I mean Storm has a dragon's breath. (Don't worry guys. Storm can't breathe fire. She's just saying that Storms breath stinks.)
Saber: I see your point.
Bubble: The whole thing sounds kind of romantic.
Flash: Yeah.
Hound: He sure is like a Knight with that sword.
(Now you know why the episode is called "Starry Knight"!)
(Inside.)
Storm: Wow! He got all seven!
(Turns to face Tails.)
Storm: You've had it now! SUPER CHARGE!
(He stands in a Super hero pose for five seconds and gets a sweat drop.)
Storm: THESE ARE FAKE!
Tails: You didn't think I'd give you the real emeralds did you?
Storm: That was pretty sneaky for a good guy?
Tails: Always assume the worst with your enemy. I learned that from you!
Storm: HA! You're not the only sneaky one around here! BADNIKS, ATTACK!
(A ridiculous amount of Roller Badniks enters the room.)
Tails thoughts: I can't use fox claw rockets now. Mia could get hurt. Ok let's do it!
(Outside. Saber is pushing Hound on a swing.)
Hound: Give it all you got!
Saber: Right!
(He pushes so hard that Hound is sent flying into the air. He curls up into a ball. Saber jumps up and kicks him through the window. Hounds spin attack hits Storm and smashes him against the wall.)
Saber: GOAL!
(Flash jumps into the room.)
Flash: Lets party!
Tails: Hound, could you take Mia to the ring gate?
Hound: Sure. Mia, get on!
(She gets on his back. Hound jumps out the window and runs into the woods.)
Tails: Now that Mia's safe, we can really do some damage!
(Tails swings his sword taking down five rollers. Flash twirls her whip, witch has the same effect.)
Storm: I don't like the way this is turning out. Hound, you're mine!
(He jumps out of the window. Down on the ground, Bubble and Saber have their hands full. There are more badniks on the ground. Saber cuts five in half with each of his swords. Bubble thrusts her spear into a Roller and shoots another with her gun.)
Tails: Flash, go help Saber and I'll take of the bots up here!
Flash: Ok!
(Tails starts spinning round ** the continuing tails attack in Sonic Adventure** a red beam of light shines onto each of the badniks. Tails stops spinning and launches his fox claw rockets. Destroying every thing in sight.)
(Later.)
Tails on comm: Hound, Storms escaped. He might be coming after you.
Hound: Don't worry. We'll be fine. I'll meet you back on the floating island
Tails: Ok. Tails out!
(Closes comms.)
Mia: Are you sure you can handle this?
Hound: Take it easy. I beat Storm before I can do it again.
Will Hound be able to defeat Storm?
Will Miles see Mia again?
