Shining Force of Scenario 1

Synbios- He's the leader. Human Swordsman aged 20. Youngest of two children. He is the son of the legendry nobleman, Conrad of Flagard. His adventures began when his father become ill, and he volunteered to represent Flagard in Conrad's absence. He soon gains a reputation as a great tactician and warrior throughout the Republic & Empire.  He's also very kind and gentle, which is another reason he gets all the ladies.

Dantares- He heads up the force, answering only to Synbios, and the teams current tactician. A powerful centaur knight. A childhood friend of Synbios, Dantares is very loyal to his master, and totally dedicated to his duty. Although Dantares is strictly serious, he does have a calmer side. He likes children, and has earned himself the nickname "Uncle Dantares" from the kids at home.

Masqurin- Elf Magician. She's the youngest of the group. She grew up with Synbios and is very good friends with him. Although there are times when Synbios still treats her like a little girl, thus she's always eager to prove that she's capable of holding her own. And she does that quite well with a decent variety of magic, including Blaze, Spark, and Attack. She's also the groups practical joker, with Dantares being her favourite target.

Grace- Kyantol. The laid back & chilled priestess, acts as the teams main healer. She's best friends with Masqurin, and is always the one to beg the red-haired pranksters victims (usually Dantares) for forgiveness. Grace would naturally prefer to talk than fight, but is very capable of defending herself, when she has to.

Hayward- Hayward travelled all over the word as a mercenary. He took jobs with the Empire and in Saraband, where he joined the border guards, and became friends with Garosh. It was also in Saraband, that he joined Synbios army. He had always dreamed of finding a leader worthy of his trust, and fighting alongside a great warrior like Dantares. His main weapon is his bow. And he's such a great shot, that he's practically untouchable on the battle field. His fighting Knife is just for show.

Obright- An old soldier, who once worked for General Produn. He was separated from his unit, when he went to save a small boy from a monster. When he awoke, he discovered that his unit had left. It was there that he helped Synbios and King Bentram escape from the Empire. He's a typical jolly dwarf, with a large appetite, and a fondness of fine ales.

Irene- Fearing the Empire, this mini-martial artist decided to flee to the Republic. She also had to escape from her old Master. She tried to sneak aboard the train to Storich, but was found by a bunch of Bandits, who were robbing the cargo hold. Before they bad guys could have their wicked way with Irene, she was rescued by the Shining Force. She's still learning the language, so sometimes mixes up her words, or misunderstands what others are saying.

Cybel- She was a soldier in the army of General Varlent. After Varlents battle with General Spirel, he went mad. Cybel tried to reason with him, but the raving lunatic wouldn't listen. Being separated from Varlent, and witnessing his death, she felt a great emptiness in her heart. The redeem herself, and gain back her honour, she joined the Flagard army. She is loyal, and noble as Knights should be, but also cares greatly for the other members of the group.

Eldar- A bird soldier in the service of Lord Conrad. She and her younger brother Zero act as messengers for Conrad and Synbios. She loves her brother very much, and is always worrying if he's okay, whenever they're separated. Naturally fond of being able to fly, she does like to stretch her wings every now and then. (Pun intended.)

Kahn- Kahn is a Monk of Elblessem, searching for a key, that will save the world. He first met up with Synbios army when Julian brought them to Quinos village, seeking a Vandal. Destroying the Vandal was Kahns mission also, so he teamed up with the heroes. He carries an orb, which is the only weapon capable of penetrating the Vandal seal.

Noon- Noon is a master of Dark Magic, but his ability to summon it caused himself and the villagers of Quinos to be transformed into Zombies by the Vandal. He was freed from the spell and felt that his pride had be injured. He joined Synbios army to regain what was lost, and also to atone for his sin. At first he doesn't care who wins the war, saying that "Republic or Empire matters not to me." be eventually he becomes a loyal soldier of Aspia.

Justin- Once the sidekick of General Edmund, Justin got into an argument with his general, after a battle, and was ordered to stay behind with the injured troops. He is an old friend of Dantares, and has fought by his side several times. If Justin believes that someone has wronged him, then he won't forget it until he's made it right.

Horst- is a gladiator who's always happy to get stuck into a scrap with just about anyone. Strong, solid as a rock, and a bit of a rebel. He felt right at home in a miss-matched bunch like the Shining Force.

Penn- Hatched from a rare egg that Synbios purchased. Penns main function is eye-candy, making the girls go mushy. His egg would've made a tasty omelette too. 

Ratchet- A mad scientist, researching steam technology. He rides around in a steam powered suit which he built. Having joined up with the force, he now sees a few potential volunteers to test drive his inventions...

Frank- A werewolf with a violent temper, and a tendency to go berserk. He likes pushy people, so he doesn't mind when Synbios hits him with the newspaper.

Hagane- A rouge ninja from a mysterious clan. What secret does he hide behind his mask? Perhaps he's Peter Andre' in disguise! 

Murasame- A ninja who works for duke Palsis. Looks a bit Rodi from Shining The Holy Ark? He enjoys getting a reaction from people, when he suddenly busts in, in a cloud of smoke.  

Fynding- The humble (yet almost always drunk) servant of Lord Tristus of Malorie.
