Blue eyes white vixen by Herofox
(In this episode I will introduce a new character called "T2" who is (c) Noelle Carballo.
T2's Voice actor is Rachel Lillis.)
(One morning Espio the Chameleon woke with a start.)
Espio: Boy I'm bushed.
?????: Morning sleepy head!
Espio (smiles): Morning Melissa.
(He goes into the next room to greet his wife, who is a white fox with two tails. Remind you of anyone? Anyway she is tickling a baby chameleon.)
Espio (Kisses Melissa then tickles the baby): And how are you this morning little Nage?
Baby chameleon: Dada! (Baby word for "Daddy!")
{Insert romantic music here}
Melissa (wraps her tails around Espio): So you're leaving for work now?
Espio: Yeah. Knuckles has had me working real hard to get the Knux-Bot working again.
Melissa: Too bad...
Espio: Don't worry I'll be home soon.
Melissa: Great!
(They kiss. He leaves. Melissa looks at a picture on the fireplace. In the picture she is holding a baby fox with two tails)
Melissa: Miles...I miss you. Maybe someday we'll see each other again.
{Romantic tune ends}
(Fade to Mobius where a battle is taking place. Sonic and Tails are in their Hyper forms ramming through a number of Robotnik's airships. On the ground Sally, Bunnie, Rotor, and Antoine are using laser blasters to fight off some Swat-bots. Robotnik is watching from his command chair in the newly rebuilt Robotropolis.)
Robotnik: Miserable Mobians...
(Presses a button on his chair.)
SNIVLY!!!
(A small robotic human enter.)
Snivly: Yes sir?
Robotnik: I want these freedom fighters caught. Have you been able to come up with any new wicked schemes lately?
Snivly: Indeed Dr. Here is the new prototype for the "Shadow bug".
(He shows Robotnik a black and red control bug. Robotnik looks at it and smiles wickedly)
Robotnik: Oh that's good Snivly. That's very good!
(The insane duo laughs maniacally. Back at Freedom Fighter HQ, Rotor and Antoine are playing polka. Sally and Bunnie are playing chess. Sonic and Tails gaze out the window. Knuckles comes in.)
Sonic: Hey Knux!
Knux: Hi Sonic! Mina says she's waiting for you to pick her up from work now.
Sonic: Thanks pal!
Sally: What does Mina work as?
Sonic: She works at the Chaotix nursery and takes care of the kids.
Rotor: Whose kids?
Knux (blushes): Well...it's a very, little known fact that most of the original Chaotix group are now married. We keep the children in the nursery while their parents work around the island. (Takes off one of his gloves to revile a wedding ring.)
Bunnie: So how many of your boys have kids then?
Knux: Julie-su and me have a daughter, her name's Lara-su. Mightys son is called Bruno. Espio's is called Nage. Vectors daughter is called Lilly.
Antoine: What's Sonics kid called then?
Knux: Sonic doesn't have kids. (Starts laughing) He's probably the only person I know who's in his twenties and still not married!
Sonic (o\/o+): I've been too busy working!
Knux (¬ ¬): Suuuuuuuure...
Tails (still staring out the window in his own little world): Think I'll go fishing...
(He leaves. Espio enters.)
Espio: What's wrong with him?
Knux: His girlfriend back on earth dumped him.
Sonic: And since we were just talking about marriage, he's probably thinking about the would-be "Mrs Prower".
Espio: Prower? That's Melissa's maiden name! (Looks at Tails as he flies away.) He is a fox with two tails, and Melissa sometimes talks about a brother she once had...
Antoine: Do you suppose it's possible that...
Espio: Knuckles, May I be relived from duty for a moment?
Knux: Sure.
(Espio dashes home to Melissa who is practising with a punch bag in the garden. She turns around to see Espio who is short of breath.)
Melissa: Wow, that was fast.
Espio: Listen...huff...puff...do you remember when you told me about Miles?
Melissa: Yeah. Why.
(He explains the situation.)
Melissa: What?! He's alive?!
Espio: Yeah. He said he was going fishing somewhere on Mobius.
Melissa: I'd better go find him!
(She dashes out of the room and jumps into a white jet plane. The name Cyclone is written on the side of the jet. She takes off and heads down to Mobius.)
Melissa: I haven't seen him for fifteen years. I wonder what he's like now?
(Near a river Tails is alone with his thoughts.)
Tails: How could it have gone so wrong?
(He remembers the slap. He rubs the area of his face where Mia hit him.)
She wouldn't even let me explain. She probably doesn't like Mobians.
(He packs up his gear and flies off to Mobotropolis. Near the area he was in, Melissa has landed.)
Melissa: Where could he be? They said he was fishing in a river near the city.
(She hears a hovering sound.)
What's that?
(She turns in the direction of the sound. Then her jaw drops at the sight of Tails flying in the sky.)
It's him! Miles!
(She hops in her plane and chases after him. She eventually catches up and opens the hatch.)
MILES!
(Tails looks around to see a white fox flying a jet plane.)
Tails: How do you know my name?
Melissa: Because I'm Melissa, your sister! Don't you recognise me?
Tails: No way! If you're my sister, how come you don't have the same colour of fur as me?
Melissa: Cause I'm part albino! My fur is completely white but we still have the same eyes!
(Tails looks into her Persian blue eyes. Same as his.)
(Flashback through Tails eyes: He is looking up at the smiling face of a white female fox who is holding him.)
Tails: It can't be...
His thoughts: This is weird. She seems so sure. But my family has been missing for years, and now this girl comes along and brings back an old memory. She could be an agent of Robotnik, trying to lure me into a trap...but she looks so familiar. And the look in her eyes. It's so sincere. Maybe she is telling the truth? But...Oh! I'm so confused!
Melissa: Maybe this will remind you.
(She hands him a photograph of an older fox dressed in a uniform like Antoine's with a small fox girl with snowy white fur. The older fox is holding a small fox baby. The thing that surprised Tails most was that both of the children in the picture had two tails.)
Tails: It...cant...be...
(Melissa sets the jet on autopilot and steps on to the wing. She shows Tails her two tails.)
Tails: Melissa...
Melissa: Miles...
(Tails lands on the wing. They look at each other for a second with sparkling eyes. Tails walks over to Melissa. They wrap their arms around each other.)
Tails: Sis! Where've you been all this time?
Melissa: On the floating island with Chaotix. And you?
Tails: For most of my life I've lived in Knothole as a freedom fighter. But I wasn't even on Mobius for the last six years because I was on earth the whole time.
{Insert a calm, happy tune here}
Tails: It's been fifteen years since I last saw you. But that picture brought it all back.
Melissa: Miles, I missed you so much. (She hugs him even tighter.)
?????: So the children of Amadeus are reunited at last.
(Both turn around.)
Both: Uncle Merlin?
Merlin: Yes. I shall now take you home.
(He does just that.)
Tails: I don't get it Uncle. Why didn't you tell us about each other when I first came back to Mobius?
Melissa: And how come you didn't tell us about each other before Miles was stranded on earth?
Merlin: Because the ancient walkers spoke to me. They told me to allow destiny to bring you together.
Tails: Why's that?
Merlin: I don't really know. The ancient ones work in mysterious ways.
Melissa: Well at least we finally found each other again.
Merlin: Take care of each other. I'll always be here if you need me.
(Tails and Melissa are outside Espio's house.)
Tails: Melissa, can I ask you something?
Melissa: Sure.
Tails: Well the only time I'm called Miles is when I'm on Earth, so could you call me by my nickname?
Melissa: Ok. What is your nickname by the way?
Tails: Everyone calls me Tails. (Well duh!)
Melissa: Now that you mention it. I don't really like the name Melissa that much. I'd prefer I shorter name.
Tails: How about I give you one of my old nicknames?
Melissa: You had other nicknames too?
Tails: Yeah. I hated the name Miles so Sonic made up some other names I could use instead. Two Tails, and T2, witch is short for Two Tails. Then we agreed that "Tails" was the best name and so the name stuck with me.
Melissa: I think I use the name T2. It's short and sweet.
(Espio comes up with Nage.)
Espio: Hi honey!
(Tails notices a ring on Espios finger that matches T2's. He manages to put 2 and 2 together.)
Tails: You didn't tell me you where married!
T2 (blushes): I guess not.
(Tails notes that Espio is holding a baby version of himself.)
Tails: What's your name little fella?
(Nage is asleep)
Espio: Meet Nage, "Uncle" Tails!
Tails: (0_0!)
T2: Something wrong Tails?
Tails: We sure have a lot of catching up to do!
T2 (^_^): Yeah!
