The end of Hero Fox? By Herofox
"SHISHIHOKODAN!!! Screamed Neo Flash as yet another tower of light crashed down on Hero Fox.
While Light Fist was getting ready to jump at Hero Fox again, when an evil laugh could be heard.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Echoed the voice and mist gathered near the area where the battle was taking place.
As the mist took shape, Ixis Nagus stood there in front of our heroes.
"Naugus?!" Yelled Light Fist in his shared voice, full of shock.
Then Hero Fox saw his moment. He struck Light Fist with a powerful double pound on the back, knocking the lavender one out as he faded back to Sonic, lying on top of Knuckles.
"It's done Nagus!" yelled the golden kitsune. "Now give me the spell!"
Nagus just grinned "Yes, you've kept your end of the bargain." He said "But did you really think I'd keep mine?" Before Hero Fox could react, Nagus blasted him with an energy bolt that knocked him back into the dried up sea.
"Tails!" Yelled Neo Flash. Then Leo and Saber entered the scene.
"So it's you!" Yelled Leo "You villain, Nagus! You used Tails' simple-mindedness against him!"
"Oh but of course!" Mocked the evil hybrid
Then Hero Fox came back. "You are truly evil Nagus..." he said in a hurt voice.
Nagus giggled at this and the Tails solar form continued "You used my wish to see my mother, to turn me against my friends. Well your manipulation ends NOW!" He roared as he drew his ascended sword.
"Oh, so you intend to claim my life, little stooge?" Mocked Nagus "Then let us begin!"
With that, Nagus shot a large beam of black energy that Hero Fox was barely able to block with his sword in time.
Meanwhile in Nagus' lair Tails father was in a bad state. His robotasized armour was badly damaged, and he was bleeding a bit too.
"It's been a while brother." Came a familiar voice
"Merlin? Is that you?" asked Amadeus
Back at the harbour, Hero Fox was hacking and slashing away at Nagus, who easily dodged every one of those attacks.
"Come now Tails, is that really the best you can do?" the evil wizard teased.
Hero Fox slashed at Nagus again, only to hit a brick wall, and have the sword smack him back in the face, leaving a cut on his forehead.
"Oh that's right!" the demon continued "You're fatigued from your battle with Light Fist, so even the slightest breeze could blow you down!"
Then the Silver armoured Great Fox flew up to Nagus.
"Great Fox!" He greeted "I see you've used auto-recover. Now you can help me to destroy Hero Fox." Then he pointed down "Kill him!" The evil wizard ordered.
But then, while the insane super villain was looking down at Tails in his most supreme form, a pair of powerful mechanical arms grabbed him, pinning his arm to his side. "What the hell are you doing?! He demanded "I'm going to help alright." Great Fox replied coldly "Help my son to defeat you!" this came as a shock to young Miles. "Dad..." he said. Great Fox looked down at him "Miles" he said "I can't atone for leaving your mother. But allow me to do this for you. Our family has always protected the realm from those who would bring evil. Now I'm going to make sure that you have a chance for peace" as he said those words his armour began to glow.
Hero Fox' mouth dropped at this. He knew what was happening. From a distance, Merlin was watching as a tear entered his eye "Good bye Amadeus...my Brother..."
Back on the battlefield, Great Fox' armour illuminated the whole area. "Good bye...my son..." Where his last words. Then he exploded in blast of Light, and Fire
"FATHER!!!" Cried Tails as the light erupted in his golden face.
When the smoke had cleared, Great Fox' body lay there, de-robotasised and completely lifeless. His good eye had closed forever.
Hero Fox stood there trembling. His father, whom he once hated, sacrificed himself to save Mobius. At first it looked as though Nagus had perished with him, but then he heard it. Nagus' insane laughter.
"What an old fool!" He yelled. Then Tails rage erupted "YOU MONSTER!!!" he roared as he once again drew his sword and flew right at the Large Madman.
"I grow tiered of these foolish games boy" he said as he held out his arm "SOUL BURNER!!!" He roared as he shot out his beam of Dark Energy. Hero Fox clashed his damaged sword against it. As he struggled to gain control, several cracks appeared in the angel stone.
Sonic and Knuckles regained consciousness and couldn't believe what they were seeing.
What came next, would leave a mark for life...
The beam intensified, and the cracks in the Angel stone grew larger and larger until...
The stone had smashed to pieces.
Without the stones power, Tails could no longer remain in his Solar form. No sooner had his ultimate alter ego faded, than he cried out in pain, with his hair broken out of its ribbon, and left flowing wildly in the breeze.
When Nagus had finished his attack, he flew into space, still laughing manically.
Sonic and Knuckles ran over to their friend "Tails! Are you alright?!" Sonic asked, afraid for Tails well being. But the young fox didn't answer. "Tails?" Sonic asked again, faring the worst. Then he put his hand on the boys' chest "Sonic..." Asked Knuckles "...is he..." then Sonic turned to Knuckles, with tears in his eyes "There's...no heartbeat...He's dead..."
Sonic wants revenge. Next time, he and Knuckles will do what ever it takes to get it...
