Force from the future by Herofox In the desert regions of the sandopolis zone on Angel Island, a large blue portal opened up. And out stepped a slender female cat, with crimson fur and jet-black hair. Her scarlet, skintight armour glissaded in the desert sun, as did her cobalt blue eyes. "And now to find that stuff." She said And with that, she raced off. Meanwhile, in the Mushroom hills, another portal opened up, and out stepped a red echidna girl in her early twenties with pink bangs and a pink braid. She wore a black vest with a blue stripe, blue gloves, and tinted sunglasses that where small enough to show most of her lavender eyes. She opened up a computer on her watch to check the date. "Alright!" The echidna cried "I got here just a few seconds after Patel! So she can't have got that far!" She then opened up her dreadlocks, caught an updraft, and soared into the sky. Down on Mobius, Tails was working in his new, city based, workshop. He was trying to get a lock on the SSSSS squad. "Damn!" He said in frustration. "You'd think that since I built the jets, I'd at least be able to track them!" Meanwhile, the echidna girl, whose name was Lara-su, walked through downtown echidnaopiolis. Lara-su: I should be close to the processing plant. (Just then constable Remington walked out of the station for a stroll.) (He was out of uniform, so no one would recognise him) (Then he saw and recognised Lara.) His thoughts: It's her! That girl from six years ago! JANI-CA! (This refers to the Archie comic, where Lara-su came back the first time.) (Remington runs over to Lara-su and grabs her wrist.) Remington: I've got you Jani-ca! Now explain your business! Lara-su: Sorry constable but I have a job to do! (She then slid part of her vest down and slightly ripped one of the straps on her tank top.) >o< Hey stop this guy! Somebody help! (A mob of angry people gathers round Remington and scolds him, as he tries to explain.) (Lara-su takes this chance to get away.) (Meanwhile Knuckles receives a phone call from a titanium processing plant.) Knuckles: So this cat lady is after the titanium? Worker: Yes. Can you help us? Knuckles: I'm on my way! He puts down the phone and goes into the next room where his daughter is sleeping. He then, playfully tickled Lara's tummy. As the small echidna giggled, Knuckles smiled slightly. "She's not always gonna be this innocent y'know." Said Knuckles wife Julie-Su. "Yeah." Said Knuckles with a slightly humorous tone. "In about fifteen years, she'll be old enough to date, get in fights, flunk out of school, and all those other things, girls do to make their dad go bald." Julie-su giggled slightly at this. "C'mon Knuck! She can't be THAT bad when she grows up!" "Don't worry, I'm just kidding!" he said with a smile. "I've got to take care of some business at the titanium plant. I'll get some wine on my way back." Before winking at the pink echidna. With a smile, Julie-su waved Knuckles off. Back on Mobius Tails, Rotor, and Antoine where sitting at a diner table, discussing resent events. Tails: Well. Sonic says his men are on the case so we should get a full report as soon As the bots are located. Antoine: Just don't blame yourself Tails. You may have built them, but you can't be everywhere at once. Rotor: Yeah. Even the best of us need help sometimes. Tails: You're right guys. I guess that was my mistake last time. (He means in season 1.) I never relied on my friends to help me. Back on the island, Lara-su is taking a shortcut through an ally. Lara-su: I should be there anytime now. (Just as she's about the exit, Remington steps in her way.) Remington: I have you now! (Lara-su then screeched to a halt, wondering how she was going to get past him.) (Suddenly, a large wok fell from above, and hit Remington on the head, knocking him out.) Up in a kitchen- Waitress: Oops! I dropped the frying pan! Chef: Be more careful next time! (Lara-su ends up in the plant, just as Patel was making a brake with the titanium.) Lara-su: Hold it! Patel: Not you again! Lara-su: Drop that titanium and give yourself up! THUNDER ARROW! (As Lara shoots a blast of lightning at Patel, the armour-clad cat activates her time machine and jumps through a portal.) Lara-su: I'll get you! (She prepares to jumps through the portal after her, but Remington runs up the hallway.) Remington: JANI-CA! You won't getaway this time! Lara-su C_C: Not again! (She then blasts the control panel next to the door, causing it to emergency-shut.) (After a loud "CLANG" and "OOF!" we can see an imprint of Remington in the door.) Lara-su jumps through the portal and lands in downtown Mobotropolis, about 20 years into the future. She opened up her com-watch and called the local law enforcement. In a command center nearby a young fox girl aged between, 17 and 18 answered. He had lovely, sky blue eyes and shiny orange fur. She had two gorgeous flowing tails and she wore a pink vest. Her hair was tied back with a pink ribbon in a yard long braided ponytail. Her name was Rachel Prower. Rachel: This is Badnik Hunter headquaters. How can I help you? Lara-su: Patel stole some titainium from the past and she's heading for the harbor. I'll need someone to head her off. Rachel: Right: I'll send our best hunter. (They close comm and Rachel opens a video link with her younger brother who was eating a cup of Ramen in his quarters.) (He was a cat with a fox's colour scheme, white bangs and two slim tails.) (He wore a white vest with a red stripe; blue knuckles gloves, and a blue scarf with a circular picture of a white tiger embroiled on it.) Rachel: Ade, Lara-su's chasing Patel to the harbour. We need you to catch her! Prowl: Why me? Rachel ^_^: Cause you're the best hunter there is. And if anyone can catch Patel, it's you. Prowl (Blushes): Oh...I see...I'm on my way! (They close comm.) Prowl -_-: Why does that always work on me? Lara-su has caught up with Patel at the docks. Lara-su: There's no escape now! (She punches the wooden dock, knocking the ground out of commission. But Patel jumps and lands on a nearby lamppost. Patel: Too slow... Prowl (V.O.): TIGER CLAW! (Suddenly, a flash of orange slashes past Patel, knocking her off the lamp post.) (Lara-su produces a set of handcuffs and pins Patels arms behind her back.) Lara-su: Thanks for your help Prowl. Prowl: No problem. I do that all the time. Lara-su: Could you take Patel to a prison cell while I give my dad the titanium? Prowl: Okay. (Back in present time, Knuckles finds a large bag full of Titanium.) Knuckles 0_0: How did that get there? (Maybe one day he'll understand.) Back at Sonics palace. Sonic: We've managed to find the badniks base. Tails, you and I will go And neutralise them. Tails: Right. Sorry the ending was a little rushed ^_^;; I wanted to finish this chapter fast. Next time- It's the final battle against the badniks! But it's not the final episode just yet!
