The Cats meow by Herofox & Hellfox

As Knuckles and Evil Knuckles battle it out in the special zone, Chaotix race to find the portal, so that they can help their leader in the rumble of his life.
Back on the island however, things are a little more peaceful. Tails is at in the garden looking at the smoking pile of ashes where Evil Knuckles shot Mia. Storm walks up behind him...)
Storm: Tails, are you okay?
Tails: Yeah, just worried about Mia though.
Storm: It's natural that you should be worried. You care about Mia a lot and I know she cares for you. It's a bond like that, that will never break.
Tails: Thanks. But I'm full of mixed feelings at the minute. When I was on earth I was happy with Mia, but now that I'm back here...I so confused.
Storm: Listen Tails, you've gotta listen to your heart. Whether you choose Mia or not, I know that whatever you choose will be the right choice. Cause I have faith in you.
Tails: Thanks pal. (shakes Storms hand.)
Storm: Anytime.
(Meanwhile...)
Bunny: We gotta problem.
Sally: What now?
Bunny: Look for yourself. (Turns on the monitor that shows a city a blaze and in ruins.)
Sally: How awful. Bunny did you see who it was.
Bunny: I got this picture a few hours ago.
Sally: What do you mean hours?
Bunnie: I'm not Sonic. I can't run halfway round the world in 3 seconds.
Sally: Good point.
(Bunnie zooms in on a section of film and it shows Anti-Sally and Evil-Sonic hand in hand walking away laughing.)
Sally: This is starting to get annoying.
Bunnie: Tell me about it. Look they parade around in public like their married or something.
Sally (Hit Bunnie on the head): Not that you long eared buffoon. I mean that if just those two could wipe out and entire city, then what happens if Robotnik decides to bring a few of their friends through the portal?
Bunnie: I get it now. But you didn't have to hit me so hard.
Sally: Sorry. We've go to tell the others. Get Sonic, Rotor, and Antoine, to the freedom fighter special A.S.A.P.
(Sally and Bunnie leave the room... Meanwhile Flash goes to talk to Tails...)
Flash: Something bugging you?
Tails: Yeah. I'm so confused about Mia.
Flash: In what way?
Tails: She's snotty, rude; clings to me like a lovesick puppy. And she never listens to me. I just asked her to stay away from the house in the woods but she kept coming anyway.
Flash: She only came to the house so many times because she was worried about you.
Tails: I don't need some human weakling to look out for me! I'm one of the strongest fighters on Mobius!
Flash: Something's different about you Tails. You've never talked about Mia like that before.
Tails: That's because...it's her fault I became Shadow Fox in the first place!
Flash: What?
Tails: The only reason I went to station square is because Mia wanted to talk to me. We couldn't have just met up on earth, she had to come here. Then when Robotnik attacked I was drawn perfectly into his trap.
Flash: So now you hate Mia?
Tails: When I was Shadow Fox I was cold, and ruthless. I mercilessly attacked my friends, hurt a lot of innocent people, but the worst thing I did was when I fought Espio.
I sliced his limbs off, smashed up his ribs, and tossed him away like a candy bar wrapper. Shadow fox showed no remorse for his actions. They all hated me for what I did. I even hated myself for letting Shadow Fox do that to Espio.
I don't hate Mia. I hate what I became because of her.
Flash: C'mon, it's not her fault Robotnik's insane.
Tails: You're right I guess.
Flash: By any chance...are you trying to dump her off on Hound?
Tails: Huh?
Flash: Lets face it. They're both so annoying; they'd make a perfect couple.
Tails: I guess.
Flash: So you think Hounds nothing but a pest?
Tails: Well he sure has a big mouth.
Flash: He'd be hurt to hear you said that.
Tails: You're not gonna tell him are you?
Flash (Gets up): I promise not to tell Hound what you said if you promise to go out on a date with me! See ya tonight at eight!
(She jumps away.)
Byeeeee!
Tails (0_0!): How did that happen?!
(To the Chaotix)
Julie-su: The planes fired up and we're ready to leave for the special zone.
Vector: I'll stay here on the island and cover your post while your gone.
Julie-su: Thanks.
Vector: Good luck guys.
Mighty: Bye for now.
(The plane takes off.)
(Vector heads to the command station when he sees Amy looking into the sky.)
Vectors thoughts: Poor girl. She must still be upset about what happened to Manic.
(He walks over to the bench and sits next to Amy.)
Amy: Vector?
Vector: I know how you feel Amy. I lost someone close to me a while ago.
Amy: You did?
Vector: Yes.
(Flashback: He is standing in a morgue. Tears are in his eyes for the person in the coffin.)
I couldn't leave her there. All alone in the cold. So I went to gather some daisies, her favourite flower, to make a blanket to shield and protect her through the ages.
(He leaves the morgue and comes back with a bouquet of daises. He puts them in the coffin.)
(End of flashback.)
My wife died shortly after our son, Jammer was born. It hurts me that he'll grow up without ever meeting his mother.
Amy: I can understand. My baby will grow up without a father.
Vector: Nothing we can do will bring Manic back, but we'll never forget what he did. Standing up to Evil-Sonic like that cost him his life. He sure was brave.
Amy: Please stop. I don't want to remember what that monster did to him!
Vector: I'm so sorry Amy. I guess I'm just making it worse. Just know this.
(He stands up.)
The last thing Manic said before he died was that he loved you.
(Tears fill Amy's eyes.)
Amy: I know. Thank you Vector.
Vector: If you ever have a problem. You can always come see me.
(He walks over to the command station.)
(Over to Sonic & co.)
Sonic: EVIL SONIC!
(Evil-Sonic turns around to see Sonic race at him with all his speed. He grabs the leather-clad villain and smashes him into a wall.)
You'll pay for what you did to my brother!
(He starts punching Evil-Sonic very hard, and very fast. He them throws Evil-Sonic at Anti-Sally.)
Sonic: I'll destroy you all!
(He grabs his chaos drive and becomes Super Sonic, then Ultra Sonic, and finally Solar Sonic.)
No more mercy!
(He holds his hand out ready to fire.)
CHAOS DESTROYER!!!
Rotor: No Sonic! You'll destroy the whole city!
Solar: Back off Rotor! He deserves this!
Antoine: But you'll be the same as them!
Solar: This time it's personal!
(He prepares to fire the death beam.)
Sally: Wait! You're right Sonic.
All (Including Solar!): What?
Sally: You have every right to hate them. But I can't help wondering...what would Manic do?
Solar: He'd say...everything by the book.
(He deflects the blast into the sky.)
Evil-Sonic: Thanks for stalling him Royal Babe!
(He quickly pulls out a chao emerald and teleports away.)
(Solar powers down to normal Sonic. He pounds on a wall in frustration.)
Sonic: Next time Evil-Sonic! I'll get you yet!
(Back to Tails who is entering the house he's been staying in ever since he came back to Mobius: Espios house. T2 and her friend Fiona {She's a fox BTW.} are having a sparing match. Nage is playing with a baby armadillo.)
Nage: Unca Tails!
Tails: Hum? Hi Nage! Where's your mom?
Nage (Points to the back garden): Da way!
Tails: Thanks bud!
(Notices the baby armadillo.)
Tails: Who's your little friend?
Baby armadillo: Goo-goo!
(Tails shrugs and walks into the garden.)
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
DONG!!!
(Two fox feet hit him in the head. T2 and Fiona sweat like crazy and Tails falls to the ground with stars spinning around his head.)
(When Tails comes round T2 is replacing a wet cloth on his head.)
Tails: How long was I out?
T2: Half an hour. I'm sorry about that double whammy we did on you.
Tails: So who was your partner in crime?
Fiona: That would be me. I'm Fiona.
Tails (Sits up): Nice to meet you.
T2: Fiona's Mightys wife. And that's her son playing with Nage.
Fiona: It's kind of dangerous though. Rocky's pretty strong for someone his age. He's only a few months old and he can even lift me!
Tails: Wow.
(Tails explains his problem to T2 and Fiona.)
T2: What? You're just about to break up with that human and already you're dating someone else?
Tails: I don't have a choice! She's blackmailing me!
T2: Sigh! You transform into probably the most powerful being on Mobius and you cant even stand up to a little pussycat.
(Tails blushes.)
Fiona: C'mon T2! Cut him some slack! We should try to help!
T2: Good idea!
(They dress Tails in a blue short-sleeved shirt.)
T2: There we go! Casual, yet stylish.
Fiona: Heh! He looks kina cute!
Tails (Blushes): Ya think?
Fiona: Yeah! Knock her dead kid!
(Tails leaves)
(Tails meets Flash at a diner.)
Flash: Nice shirt!
Tails: Thanks!
(They sit at the counter. When the food has arrived they start having a chat.)
Flash: Hey Tails, how come you're usually with the older Freedom fighters now?
Tails: Cause that's the team I was with six years ago, before I was stranded on earth. They're kinda like a family.
Flash: I see. It must be nice to be so close.
Tails: It is. But I still like being the leader of the Terra Senshi.
Flash: Why's that?
Tails: Cause I can develop real leadership skills, and hang out with people my own age. Besides we're all friends so I can always open up to you guys.
Flashes thoughts: He's so nice. And I love his hair! I dig that ponytail!
(Later Tails and Flash are walking through the park.)
Tails: Where are you taking me?
Flash: Somewhere I've always wanted to take a boy my age!
(She leads Tails up to a hill. There is a bench on the top. They sit down on it.)
Tails: Wow. It sure was worth the climb.
(They are looking the stars.)
Flash: I come here every night. You can see all the constellations from here. You can see the sun rise too and it's so beautiful.
Tails: Then what say we spend the night here? We can watch the sunrise together?
Flash ^o^: Sure!
(A few hour pass. A shooting star flies past giving both Tails and Flash a special feeling.)
Flash: Brr! It's pretty cold out here!
Tails: Well...how about I wrap my Tails around us? It'll keep us warm.
Flash (Blushes): Okay...
(Tails wraps his trademark tails around the cat. Flash gives one of the a hug.)
You're so warm...
(This time Tails blushes.)
Tails thoughts: Something about this feels so...right.
[Inset the Pokemon song "Mistys song".]
(Hours later they wake up to a beautiful sunrise. Flash still has hold of one of Tails tails. Tails also finds to his surprise that one of his arms is wrapped around her.)
Tails: You where right Flash. It is beautiful.
Flash (Moves closer to Tails):I'm so happy. I wish this moment would last forever.
(She rests her head on Tails shoulder.)
Her thoughts: I can hear my hart beating. Wait...That's Tails heart!
Tails thoughts: She's so pretty. And she has a good heart.
[End of "Mistys song"]
(Tails and Flash get up.)
Tails: Well, I was fun spending time with you Flash. I'll see you some other time.
Flash: One more thing first.
(She walks over to him.)
Tails: Yeah?
(She wraps her arms around Tails neck and kisses him on the lips. Tails blushes BRIGHT red and his eyes bug out. Eventually Tails loses himself in Flashes embrace and wraps his arms around her. He then shuts his eyes and returns the kiss.)
Tails thoughts: This feeling...it's different than what I felt with Mia. Is this...love?
And with that, we end the episode.
C'mon! It's been nothing but action so far!
So I decided to put a little romance into an episode.
Next time- Anti-Rotor builds a machine that can enhance Evil-Sonics power.
