Peril from the past by Herofox
It had been several days since Great Fox began his quest to gather the Scrolls of power.
He has collected three out of the four scrolls that he belives will unlock the secrets of his past.
"Only one more to go" he said to himself as he soared through the Night Sky.
Next morning, Storm was sent to wake Tails up.
"Hey Tails." He said shaking his arm, as he stood over the bed.
"IN A MOMENT MY LOVELY!" yelled a still asleep Tails, who though he was hugging Cassie, but he was really grabbing Storm.
Storm: 0_0; Errr Tails...
(Then Tails woke up and realised what was going on.)
Tails (Tosses Storm aside): Shaaaaadaaap...
What time is it?
Storm: It's 9:30.
Hound (Pops his head in): Is that flyboy freak up yet?
Tails: SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADAP!!!
(Hound runs off)
Tails: I'll get you, you little...!!
Storm (Grabs Tails): Tails, take it easy!
(Tails then sat down on his bed as Storm handed him a cup of coffee.)
Tails (Drinks coffee): I really hate that little brat...
Storm: C'mon Tails, Hound's just a kid. Don't you remember when you where eleven?
Tails: Yes I...well...no. You see I'm not sure...just exactly what day I born ON y'see.
Storm: Oh...did your parents die when you where a baby?
Tails: Yes...well...no y'see...I don't know!
All I remember is Antoine carrying me to Knothole when I was a baby.
You see...I was found. On the steps of a burning building...in a beer crate.
(Pause to let the audience laughter die down.)
Before Sonic gave me my Nickname I called...two buck deposit.
(Then Tails stood up)
"Well," he said, "I've got a job to do..."
And with that he flew away.
Great Fox then arrived at a musium. It was here that the forth scroll was kept.
Great Fox: Now that scroll is mine.
(But then, a large beam of Light hit the ground in front of him. Great Fox looked up to see Hero Fox flying over head.)
"Great Fox!" yelled the golden Tenco, "Today we finnish this!"
"Very well" said Great Fox with his eyes blazing.
NOVA STRIKE!!!
As the large silver badnick dashed at him, Hero Fox gained a large grin as he pulled out his
Secret weapon.
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!
That was the sound of Great Fox coming into contact with a dark blue beam sabre,
That Hero Fox was holding. It obsorbed the energy of the Nova Strike and
Left a huge mark of the Robots sholder pad.
"What trickery is this?!" Great Fox demanded
"Prinsess Sallies latest invention, The Full Moon Sword!"
With that, he flew down at Great Fox, with a slash, that was countered by Great Foxes own blade.
A Great Parry began, with the beams from the two blades clashing together, causeing bright Lights
To flash.
"I don't have time for you Miles Prower!" roared Great Fox as he activated his stealth system
"No!" Complained Hero Fox.
Then he flew into the museum, knowing that Great Fox would try for the scroll.
Back at FFHQ Sally was watching Hero Fox's progress, when Sonic came in.
"So they're at it again, huh?" He asked
"Yeah." Sally replied "Great Fox is really powerful, and he's great in one on one battles."
"He tied with Light Fist, and pulverised Hero Fox in their first fight."
"I know what that means!" He said. "It's time for me to help out!"
then he dashed off.
Meanwhile, Hero Fox entered the museum. All he could see was a smashed glass case.
"Not again!" He groaned
When he got back to the base, he was re-briefed.
Sally: That's the forth scroll! Even with all your weapons and powers, you still couldn't stop him!
Tails: He keeps running off after every few minutes! I can't help that!
Meanwhile, Great Fox was in the Jungle, near the southern hemasphere.
"Now," He said "Perhaps I can finally realise my purpose in life."
Then he opened up the four scrolls. Each one bared a symbol representing
Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. They also read the same prayer:
"Whosoever unites the powers of Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire, shall unite the
anchent, triad of Ixis. Strengh of the Rino, Wings of the Bat, power of the lobster,
anchent triad, unite with the powers of the four elements, and know the full power,
of the hart of Darkness!"
As Great Fox read that final word, the clouds gathered, darkening the Night sky.
Lightning stuck the four scrolls, as a Large figure.
"Well, well, well" said the sinister figure, "My old friend..."
Great Fox was supprised, "Who...are you...?!" he stuttered.
Back to Sally
Sally: We've detected strange activity in the Jungle on New Island.
Since, we don't know if Great Fox is behind it, it's perfect for you.
And your old Team of course.
Tails: Investigation?! With a team?!
Sally: I can't trust you on your own any more! Take the Night Prowlers and get to the island!
(Later, Tails & Storm, with a Snow Wolf, named Trigger, and a Desert Fox named
Cutter,
Where ready to depart. They where goined by Sonic and Knuckles)
Sally: Right you...puffs! The time is nigh! Now go! And inspect!
(So they're transported to a Jungle on New Island. It gets dark so they set up camp.)
Tails: Well, this is another fine mess we're in.
Storm: You're the one who blew it with Great Fox! It's not our fault
Sally thinks you need a babysitter!
Tails: Grrr...I don't have to ask whose voice that is! Well Mr La-de-da Storm,
Let me tell you, I've been travelling in Jungles before you were created!
So I will come out on top!
(Then they all heard something, being Foxed & Wolves, vus having sensitive hearing.)
(It was a clanking noise. It was gaining speed, as if a person warring iron boots was running from someone.)
Trigger: What was that?!
Tails: No idea...I'll go and check, the rest of you hold the fort!
Cutter: Shouldn't one of us go with you?
Tails: Good idea. Storm, lets go!
The sound belonged to Great Fox. As he ran to the place he was instructed,
The sinister figure watched.
"Yes Hero Fox" he said "Run after your old friend. But are you hunting him,
or am I hunting YOU?"
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
