The rematch by Herofox
Last time...just read the end of the chapter before this one!
As the dust settled in the ruined city, Sonic and Knuckles stood outside of it looking into the abandoned rubble,
"So how many fake emeralds do you have?" Knuckles asked Sonic
as the blue hedgehog smiled.
"Life's too uncertain to not prepare."
(Explanation: Sonic used Chaos control, just as a big pice of rubble was about to hit them.)
"Now we've got to find those three stooges. So lets head back to the castle and make up a new plan."
"Agreed." Said Knuckles.
Then Sonic pulled out a fake chaos emerald and used Chaos control to head home.
Meanwhile, Tails has landed in front of Saber.
Tails: Hey there.
Saber: Oh, it's you...
Tails: That's right! And now I'm going to show you, that I DID deserve to be the leader of the Terra Senshi!
Then Saber noticed that Tails was warring grey, metallic gloves, silver jet anklets and his rhythm badge.
"I see. So you've prepared for this."
"Yep." Was the last thing Tails said before drawing a beam sabre.
Saber responded to this by drawing his own.
"Now, we'll see who's the best, cause, it's time to DUEL!
Meanwhile, Storm and T2 walk into a bar and sit facing the barman.
Storm: Did you see an echidna?
Barman: Depends on what kind of echidna.
(While Storm describes Knuckles to the barman, T2 gets hit on by a large drunken walrus.)
Walrus: Hey cutie, got a minute?
T2 (Sweat drops): Err...sure....
Walrus ¬¬ You got a boy friend?
T2: No. I'm married.
(The walrus puts his arm around T2)
Walrus: So what does that creep have that I don't?
T2 -_-# Manners!
(She punches the walrus in the stomach.)
(One of his friends jumps on her from behind, but T2 rolls forward and knocks him out.)
(Inevitably, a bar fight brakes out.)
Barman 0_0! You can find that yellow guy on the field!
Storm ^_^! Heh Heh...Thanks!
(Storm cracks his fingers and joins T2 in the bar room brawl.)
Back to Tails and Sabers clash.
A great parry was taking place, as the blue and purple beams of light clashed against each other.
Tails then took to the skies and held out his arm.
Saber: Huh?
Tails: FOX CLAW ROCKETS!
(Tails shot his powerful bombs at Saber who barely managed to dodge them.)
Sabers thoughts: He's a pretty good shot... I guess I forgot how good Tails is with weapons.
Saber: Not bad Tails but I'm still stronger!
(As he jumped up at Tails, ready to use his best attack.)
TIGER CLAW!!!
Tails: Not this time!
(Then his anklets shot out a blast of air, pushing Tails back, and dodging Sabers attack.)
FOX CLAW ROCKETS!
(He blasted down a pair of bombs at Saber)
SHARP SHOT!
(Saber responded by Shooting two purple blaster shots up at Tails)
(The two attacks cancelled each other out but blowing Tails out of the sky.)
Saber then jumped at Tails with his sabre ready to strike down, but Tails quickly
Jumped back up and punched Saber in the gut.)
Meanwhile...
(We see Storm and T2 walking near to where Tails and Saber are fighting both have a lot of bumps and bruises from that ruckus in the bar.)
(Storm has a black eye LoL)
Storm 0\/0# You know, most women would be flattered to be hit on like that!
T2: I WAS flattered! Until he called Espio a creep!
Storm -_-; You are such a tomboy sometimes...
Then they saw Tails and Saber fighting on a low cliff just over a canyon.
Saber was trying to stab Tails with his Tiger claw, striking several misses.
Just as they had reached the edge of the cliff, Saber tried one more claw stab,
But Tails ducked and spun into a hurricane kick that knocked Saber off the cliff.
But because Saber knows how to fall without hurting himself, he was able to stand up.
"You've gotten better." Saber said weakly.
"Well, it was you that helped me to realise something." Tails replied
This surprised Saber. "What's that?"
"That I shouldn't have to compete with anyone." Tails replied with a little smile.
"You should always be yourself. Even though there's always room for improvements."
Saber smiled. He knew he'd been beaten, but he was glad that his opponent deserved the victory.
"You're correct Tails." He said. And I suppose I had a closed mind about you.
"You truly are worthy of the power of the chaos emerald. Your purity of hart is the key."
This time Tails was surprised, but he smiled. He knew what Saber was talking about.
"Thank you Saber." He said. "We'll meet again."
"And when we do, it'll be on the same side." Was Sabers last words to Tails before turning around and walking off into the sunset.
T2: Tails!
Tails: Sis!
They then ran toward each other in a love moment but...
T2: EAT THIS!
SLAP!!!
(Next thing you know, Tails is flat on his face again =D)
Tails: @_@ Nice to see you too...
T2: Do you know what we had to go through to find you?!
Tails: No. I didn't even know you where looking for me.
T2: I see you fall into a river when you out cold! What do you expect me to do?!
Storm: ^_^; I'm here too if anyone cares...
"I'm sorry T2." Tails said in a soft, sorry tone "I really hate making you worry about me like this."
T2's eyes then had a little sparkle in them, just like she sometimes had after seeing him after a long time.
Then, she cracked a little smile.
"You're such a jerk..." She said almost laughing.
"But that's what makes you who you are." She finished before wrapping her arms around him.
^_^ A VERY happy ending to Tails and Sabers running rivalry!
Oh yeah, this is NOT the end of Season 2!
Remember I still have to find a way to defeat Scratch Grounder and Coconuts.
I'll also introduce the Heroes (Yes the OFICIAL characters) children.
