This is my favorite breed of scorpion. They're one of the biggest species and they look pretty damn cool. Unlike most arachnids, they can be safely kept communally without much cannibalism. I lost one of my four to apparent cannibalism, though. It was rather odd. The only remains I ever found were hollowed out claws, legs, and a stinger. I keep my scorpions well fed now.
Another characteristic of these scorpions is their relatively even tempers. I've never gotten one to sting, although they do adopt threatening postures, and they like to pinch.
Also, if you don't know already, they glow green under blacklight.
