These guidelines are here to help you and to make our list run smoothly. All we ask is that you adhere to these basic rules of conduct.

There are three ways you can receive PnP Board posts

• Via email (Like you are receiving right now). This is the default format.
• Digest (Currently it is setup for 10 messages/per digest sent in one mail). This is ideal if you feel you are getting too many posts.
• Web-based mails (This doubles as a "vacation hold" option. An alternative to unsubscribing if you will be away from your computer for a short time). With this option, NO emails will be sent to you. If you want to read PnP mails, you have to login to your Topica account.

To do this, go to www.topica.com and log in using the e-mail address you used to subscribe to PnP Board with. Enter your password. If you have forgotten or do not know your password, just click on the "Forgot Your Password" option and another password will be sent to your email address within a minute or so.

Members are NOT to forward the following to the Board

• Chain mails - These are strictly forbidden.
• Jokes - This is NOT a jokelist! There are lists out there for jokes...send them there...not here.
• Stories - Although stories ought to be sent to the List and not the Board, we welcome short anecdotes that relate to the current topic.
• URLs/links - Don`t submit any links to other websites as this might result in unsolicited advertising. If you feel the need to share a URL with the group, please send your request to the list owner first.
• Attachments - Also strictly forbidden as they increase the risk of virus infestation and bloat up the mails.

Other

• There's no need to reply to EVERY mail. All welcome and thank you mails should be sent privately. This will reduce excess traffic at the Board.
• If the subject is personal, send the mail privately.
• Remember to ask permission before adding someone to your personal address book.
• Carefully read mails before commenting.
• Please try and moderate yourselves and not others. That`s what WE'RE here for.
• Know that members who don't follow guidelines are cautioned PRIVATELY, by the PnP Team.
• Valid complaints should be sent to the PnP Team and not the Board.
• This is a discussion/debate forum, NOT an e-mail based chatroom. If we think of it as our literal mailbox, we would not want it stuffed with junk mail. If anyone wishes to send anything other than personal commentary/opinions, they must seek PRIOR permission from Hershy.
