About Us
Dr Seán O’Halloran has returned quite recently to Northern Ireland, his wife’s homeland and his adopted home, after working overseas in education in Singapore and Hong Kong.
At present he is working as a part-time lecturer at the University of Ulster.
His interest in language studies prompted him to do research on alcohol support groups, which became the basis of his doctoral thesis which he completed in 2003. He has published in academic journals and is in the process of publishing a book; Talking oneself Sober: the Discourse of Alcoholics Anonymous.
