On Oct. 21, 2000, I went to Rowe's Corners Township Cemetery at the corner of M-52 and Pleasant Lake Road in Manchester (Washtenaw Co.), Michigan. There I found the following Grave stone's:
Haselschwerdt, Jacob 3 Feb 1828-22 Nov 1894 ("At Rest")
Hasalschwardt, Eva Mary 6 May 1830-22 Aug 1906 ("Rest")
*note* Eva Mary is spelled with all "a", no "e"
Haselschwerdt, Lydia 9 Oct 1873-9 Aug 1898 ("At Rest")
Haselschwerdt, Henry 15 Aug 1871-13 Aug 1929 ("At Rest")
Heselschwerdt, Edith 1882-1961
Heselschwerdt, William 1865-1945
Heselschwerdt, Flora T 1876-1958
Heselschwerdt, Samuel 1867-1946
Heselschwerdt, Melvin D 1905-1973
Rowe's Corners cemetery is situated next to a beautiful brick church with a tall steeple. The church is 50 feet by 32 feet with 3 windows on each side, and 2 windows on the end. There was a later addition added onto the back. The church was dedicated on 12 Nov 1876 and the cemetery itself is very well maintained and has quite a few monuments.
