A Proclamation

WHEREAS Waukesha County, State of Wisconsin, United States of

America, and Offenbach County, State of Hessen, Federal Republic of

Germany, agree to establish a partnership as a symbol of their

friendship; and

WHEREAS the people of Waukesha County and Offenbach County want to

be leaders in establishing a partnership between the United States and

the Federal Republic of Germany to serve the interest of citizens in

public and private sector entities; and

WHEREAS the partnership will help promote social progress and

deepen business relations through the exchange of opinion and experience

in the areas of education, science, arts, culture, economy, and trade.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that I, Daniel M. Finley,

Waukesha County Executive, do hereby proclaim March 21 as the anniversary

of our sister county partnership.
