Franklin was Tx's Tan Sable Rat

who showed compassion, like that of a cat

Tall and proud he rode upon her shoulder

An inspiration and true friend to his beholder

His passing, at times may seem rough

but always remember that he was tough

As in life he shared his love

As in death he watches from above

So when your down and life’s going bad

Just think of Franklin and don’t be sad

Remember him as if he were still here

And hold his memory close and dear
