David's Sculpture
I had to bring in some expert help on David's sculpture.
But eventually I was able to take over and finish it.
And with that, David's sculpture was complete.
Both sculptures were molded, and then a hard urethane foam positive was cast from each mold. I don't have pictures of this process from the busts, but if you click here, follow the "Making Mack" link, and scroll down to the bottom you'll find a few shots of how I did the same thing for a pair of moose antlers.
The casts were painted by Laura Strowe and Cynthia Lempert, the set designers for the show.
