'Well i don't think he should play, i mean he has pulled out too many times now,
he's not interested in playing for his country, thats the message i'm getting.
To him it doesn't matter, it's no big deal if he doesn't play.
But i also think Mark is really one hell of a player when he's at his best so
australia could do well to have him on the team and it would be could to have him in the team,
seeing Pat is at the last stage of his career although playing dammm well he's not going to
be there forever so they need younger players for when the older ones do decide to hang up
the racqet. We have hewitt of course but he can't do it all on his own. So think yes Mark should
play davis cup BUT only if he is committed to it, other then that NO he shouldn't.
Davis cup isn't just something you take lightly, your playing for your country
and it's something that really needs to be in your heart or it's just not going to work out
for u, we all know that davis cup is really something special to lleyton and has been for years
even before he was in the team, that shows it's really in he's heart, Mark needs to feel the
same way about davis cup, he can't just come and go as he pleases, it shows no repect for his
country.
To play davis cup your heart needs to be in it.'

'I don't think Mark is really proud to play for Australia. He puts other tournaments in front of playing for
his nation. Lleyton Hewitt is the best example of a Davis Cup supporter. He has never missed any of the Davis Cup matches he was asked to play except for injury
and even that didn't stop him sometimes! But I do think it is good that Fitzy is going to talk to Mark because he is a good clay playre and it is best to have 3 top singles player than 2. Hopefully, Mark will come to his senses!'
