Always looking up to his Uncle Scooby, Scrappy is always trying to earn the compliments of the older Dane by doing what he can to help the gang. He often helps in the wrong way, interfering with plans or giving them away, but Scrappy definitely means well. Like the others, Scrappy wants to sove the case and catch their culprit. Most of the time he is laid back, but when it comes to a case, Scrappy puts his mind in gear and runs straight to the source - all the while dragging his cowardly uncle by the tail!
